I just got into Cdramas exactly a year ago, and even I’m a little surprised with steaminess, but I’m happy with how things are right now and certainly hope it doesn’t change drastically.
So I tried the first ep of Kill Me, Love Me… but it was a little unhinged for me lol, esp after ml mentioned “bleeding on the wedding night” 😳🤣 I know it sounds petty, but I was just not expecting that line 😭
Also realised that I’m not for toxic/sadomasochistic tropes. (Which btw it seems like that term is used so often in Cdramas these days) I sat through Love and Bid Farewell everyday and it was so disturbing iykyk
Right now I’m watching Family by Choice, which is the Korean version of Go Ahead. Enjoying it so far, I appreciate all those heartfelt scenes 🥹🥰

But I totally get you. The actors definitely make their roles their own. The costumes were beautifully designed and fits their characters so well! Sometimes I wonder how certain things manage to make it pass censorship but anyhoo… Overall, it was pretty good!
Does anyone know why Ruo Wen cut his thumb and (basically) sucked his own blood? What was the purpose for that?
Also the scene when he slit his wrist for GXW (Huang Beishaung) to drink blood from, to cure her thirst, technically does not make sense. Scientifically, that will actually just make it worse.
