Finished it long time ago, and still ocasionally come back here to see if the MDL rating has risen since then, but it's still 8.0.. deserves more, esp compared to come other dramas with higher ratings

Drama deserves higher than 8.4 for sure As a massive fan of original I will never get why people hate remakes just because of changes in plot. If it's a good story, I would love to see all variations of this universe. Obviously, I would hate it, if it was done bad. I loved how Guwon stayed a demon and Dohee stayed a human until the end. Interspecies Romance is one of my favourite tropes and I am kinda tired of plots, where non-human character becomes a human.

I don't ususally watch ongoings, but check up audience reactions during airing, so I know what to expect. After seeing so many mixed reactions I lowered my expectations before starting. And this is why I enjoyed it, even through I could criticise a lot of things here. Also one thing about ending below
Ohh I remember my drama slump in 2017-2020 ( watched just few of them in 2019). I entered uni at that time and changed my surroundings, and haven't got energy for dramas, as I used. But it was really interesting to go back in 2020 and see how much stuff came out. No need to force it if you don't feel like watching
On the bright side of slump is if you come back, there will be so many interesting shows waiting for you, if you won't come back, then you won't, there's nothing bad about it

Personally for me it got better. Leads' character development through the whole plot was on point, I started getting invested into FL's struggle to reach her goal at around ep9-10. Also it's slow burn romance too. Maybe give it a few more episodes to know for sure
Omg, just finished! I was eyeing this drama since it just started airing, but I usually don't watch ongoings, just follow viewers' reactions. I have seen a lot of people loved it, so I was excited to start it when all episodes came out. It was definitely not bad, but unfortunately, the beginning was not hooking for me. I made myself carry on until ep8, then just stopped (considered dropping) and went to binge some netflix thriller kdrama.
After that I decided to give RWTW a chance and went back to ep8. And you know what?? At episode 9-10 I was so invested! I just binged the rest of drama until the end and I am so glad I didn't drop it!
It was solid 9 from me (or even 9.5 considering my impression after ep8)
