whyyyyyyyyy WHY why are gmmtv series so visually... lifeless??????? its really hard to not compare this to IFYLITA bc its pretty much the same setting, era etc. and that show looked so lush and romantic while this looks so flat. is it the color grading or camera quality? i know its annoying to complain lol but i just cant understand. its understandable to maybe not give a big budget to a simple romcom etc but why not spare some cash for your period drama and go all out

tbh i couldnt finish this bc even though the story was interesting & original, the tone was awkward to me. i know its not easy to get funding but i think when you have a heavy & complicated plot, it feels off if you dont really have the budget. i dont mind sound or editing issues it on a simple romcom but those can turn a murder mystery into a comedy.

BUTTT i think RJ is an abbreviation for brothers Rome and Jack, who we know are in rivalry and their relationship might be even more messy than the pilot trailer.
