Right? I'm actually baffled at people saying Sooho was never genuine w Beomseok, that wasnt my read at all while…
I couldn't agree more. It was so frustrating to watch Beomseok essentially forget everything that Sooho has done for him and with him just because he didn't follow him back on Instagram...
This started off strong and I still love the story, the tone and the characters, but it has slowed to a crawl.…
I couldn't agree more. I think a big problem with the storytelling is that while there are four concurrent storylines, every single one of them is moving at a snail's pace - so there is virtually nothing happening at any given time. There's so little of interest happening in each episode, which is a shame because the set-up was really good, but I'm finding I'm fast forwarding a lot lol
Anyway since this isn't going in a polyamorous direction I'll have to write the fic myself.....however this was sooooo cute and fluffy, I was smiling and laughing the entire time!
Watching the second story, War of Managers, was like watching a train wreck. I felt compelled to finish it but it was incredibly hard to watch and left me feeling confused, upset and unsatisfied. Every time that I thought it couldn't get worse... it did.
I feel like I'm watching a different drama than the people in the comments lol. I'd say this show is nowhere near…
"Amagi acts like a child"... Amagi IS a child...? He's a high school freshman, 15 maybe, of course he's going to act like a kid because he literally is one lol. It's fine to want more mature characters, but I think you're looking in the wrong place.
The finale was everything. Guang and Zhang's first kiss was so precious - the way Guang couldn't hold back a smile any time they broke the kiss for even a second was so sweet and soft. A must-watch!
Great show. I’d recommend it to anyone. The kiss scene on episode 8 started off bad but it ended well haha.
To me it was so endearing that it wasn't a perfect kiss, it made it really believable as their first kiss! And Guang's giggle midway through was just precious
A good story always has a trial which the protagonist must endure and overcome. You have a point about Mame, she…
Mame is widely known for her very casual use of sexual assault and rape, as well as her very cavalier manner of handling the aftermath. SA (or at the very least, 'pushing boundaries' and being way too obtuse about it) is often depicted as "sexy" with one character either not into it or outright saying no until they finally "give in". And this is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to her work, which are often riddled with toxic relationships. I'm happy to give some series examples if you like.
All that being said I am enjoying this series and feel like it's being done well so far, but I too am very apprehensive and on red alert lol
Episode 12 needs to have a seriously satisfying conclusion to make up for all of this slow burn - I hesitate to even call it slow burn. There's been nothing more than a tiny spark, no flame to be seen as of yet.
The pace of the drama is quite slow, but it's still enjoyable. The cast just has such good chemistry and episodes are short enough that it doesn't feel like it's dragging on. It is hard to wait week to week but getting to the new episode is like a reward.
