Review True Beauty
Thanks for your honest review, I totally agree with you. I wound up dropping this. I am not sure what all the hype is about. I found it boring so I dropped it. Also, the mother was a nightmare.

There are two things the turn me off about dramas, and that it cliffhangers and twist endings. I completely agree with you about "It's Okay To Not Be Okay". After the 6th episode I was kind of done, to the point that I skimmed thru the rest of the series. I found a lot of things I did not like about this drama (I posted a review here and got blasted to the point I was almost traumatized!) , but for some reason, I kind of saw the twist coming a mile away, the reason being that it seems like they were writing the script as they were shooting it. Also, it did not redeem the female lead to me. I for one really did not like her character.

I, personally, find this drama to be so cringe. It’s not horrible, but it’s way overrated. If you want something…
I completely agree with you about the Mom. I actually dropped this because of her. They are portraying her as a nightmare. This is one of my issues with alot of K-dramas with the mother as a support role ("Strong Girl Bong-soon" is another example). I may pick this drama back up at a later date and try again, but I'm dropping it for now. I also do not think the lead is that bad looking!

If I could describe to someone this drama I would say it is about understanding. Ko Moon Young is a flawed character,…
Thank you for your response. I really appreciate your opinion and have a better understanding. For some reason, I just had more sympathy for Gang Tae and his brother. She just came off as a spoiled brat to me. When she was about to drive into the ocean, that really rattled me!
I loved the ending and how they wrapped everything up. And as I stated in my review, I will probably watch this again in the future, and maybe have a different perspective.

This was my first review ever on this site. I will be deleting it shortly, but I just wanted to let you know that…
I am not going to argue with you about this. Thank you for correcting me regarding my reviews, opinions and completed history. I wish you all the best.

I am sorry to say this but please never watch 'MENTAL HEALTH' related dramas.....NEVER!!!
This was my first review ever on this site. I will be deleting it shortly, but I just wanted to let you know that responding with caps was not necessary. I've watched plenty of dramas about Mental Health (I absolutely loved "Kill Me, Heal me" and "It’s Okay, That’s Love". If you have not seen them, you should check them out), I just did not like this one. But thank you for you input, but I will continue to watch whatever I want on Netflix , Hulu, Viki or any other streaming service I pay for.

Article Hype Culture: Pros and Cons Spoiler
I dropped "The King: Eternal Monarch" for the reasons you listed. I got thru half of the second episode before I dropped it. It was hyped so much that I waited until it was completed before I started it. What a huge letdown. The main characters were both annoying and boring. I will not even try to finish it.

I'm thinking this may happen to me with "It's Okay to Not Be Okay". I hate the lead character. When she kidnapped the older brother just to get the younger one to move in, that did it for me. Not sure if I will be finishing this one.

Yes! I agree with everything you mentioned in your article. Here’s a couple of things that annoy me also:1)…
1) You hit the nail on the head with "sleeping with the lights on". I often wonder about that! Almost all of the characters sleep with the lights on, whether they live in mansion or an apartment...I can not even fall asleep with the TV on.
2) I have one more peeve, I don't know if anyone mentioned this,...why is everyone so violent? I mean people get slapped, kicked (mostly in the Shin, that hurts!), punched etc. all the time. mostly with no repercussions. I recently watched a drama (I can't remember, but I think Lee Seung-Gi was in it) and a woman was beat with a purse so badly she had to go the hospital. Most mothers are bad with this too (beating their kids, regardless of age.) And don't let a character work in a police station the shin kick seems to be mandatory!

The product replacement is soooo annoying indeed.. I started to notice it alot on kdrama.. But in the king, in…
I was just about to mention the product placements....Everybody has a Samsung Phone (the newest one at the time I might add) regardless of their financial status, and EVERYBODY eats at Subway! I avoid Subway like the plague here in the states!

"My Father is Strange" is the one drama that I really want to watch, but my attention span usually has a 20-24 episode limit. I recently watched "I am not a Robot" and the was 32 episodes and I enjoyed it. But I am thinking about giving MFIS a try due to the Lock down. I am running out of Kdramas!
