On Memories of Murder Sep 26, 2016
I finally got to watch it after hearing about it from Signal and after watching Song Kang Ho in The Throne. Heard about Quentin Taratino's praise for this director and wow! I am impressed - the plot development was good, I was never bored even for awhile. The acting was raw and so good especially SKH- he's not good looking but his presence commands absolute attention from the audience. The black humor / satirism is not over the top . In conclusion definitely a very high quality film ,at the same ranks as Taratino's or David Fischer's movies

The chemistry between Seo In Guk, Bo Gum and the psychopath ah jussi is great.i can see after this show, In Guk definitely will be casted for any upcoming police/ crime drama. It has an open ending, I think there might be season 2 . My first Jang Na Ra drama- not bad, like able

God i hate ius acting! Couldnt they have picked someoone better?
Haha kind of. Can't stand shin se kyung too - not keen to watch any of her dramas since SFD. She's awful there ,luckily her part not so crucial unlike IU in SHR

@yourebeautiful That's exactly my sentiment from episode one . Some people say it's bad editing, bad directing , people hating on her Lolita's issue etc etc but fact is Hae Soo is such an important character in this drama , so why IU ? I have mentioned before Park Bo Young and Moon Goon Yeung would be good . Even Moon Chae Won would be better.

Cha Tae Hyun is so hilarious here, he epitomizes a typical loser guy in romantic comedy. Story gets a little draggy in the middle but still worth watching

He shouldn't have pushed her to date Jeong Won If he wants her.
I also shipped Junghwan and Deoksun in 88 but I think Junghwan hesitated too much and too cautious that's why he lost the girl to Taek. Unlike Sun Woo , so couragoeus and acted swiftly to get Bora. Life lesson is sometimes in life, you have to follow your heart more than your mind ...otherwise it maybe too late

I liked GKP from reply 88 even though people are like crazy over BoGum then. I am open to this dramas ending meaning I won't be sad whoever Na Ri ends up with.

Who wouldn't? Haha the second lead is so sexy and his character so far is so sweeeeet. I am rooting for him too even though I like JJS a lot

That's how good the script is- it makes us difficult to choose between the two leads.

On Don't Dare to Dream Sep 23, 2016
This drama excites me so much. It has a very simple theme i.e. jealousy and its consequences but the way it's being written, looks like it can go many directions . It doesn't need many twists in the plot yet makes it very engaging to watch. The humor is so spot on- it's one of its kind in kdrama. Kudos to PD nim paying attention to small little details that is interesting like the toilet sign, the traffic light sign etc. Lastly, what a drama needs most is a brilliant cast - GHJ,JJS and GKP were fantastic and had so much chemistry among them. The supporting cast- both mothers and grandma plus sexy Chef Rak makes it complete.

He did that mainly because he loved her . He said the reasons during the conversation in the car- he felt he is not healthy as he has breast cancer and He had been a rude idiot previously when she has unrequited love for him. But of cos the mind cannot always control what the heart wants.

It started off well then it became rather cheesy. Kim Eun Sook's writing always like that - I watched all of Secret Garden and hated the cheesiness . Watched this primarily for SJK. Dare not watch Heirs at all - worried I will vomit from all the cheesiness

Darn the idiots butchering the editing on the international version. They left out basically the best scene of…
@browncoat_78 I think 20 episodes are too short for such a complex plot and huge cast. The Chinese version is 35 episodes. SHR almost has twice the cast of Moonlight ,hence that's where poor editing comes in. I am in love with the drama's directing and cinematography. I like the SK version of 4th prince more because he's flawed . My only problem with the cast is still IU- to put her opposite LJG and KHN really highlighted her weakness. Her only expression in this drama are opening eyes big with a gasp in her mouth. Even her crying is not convincing and while she's shaking in fear of the prophecy, I am not feeling it. Nevertheless I still like this drama more than Moonlight

EEEhh wtf did happen in ep 6/7 ?! It was so good until now and now i'm just watching the same soap I already watched…
But I think writer writes a character according to which actor/ actress he has in mind . So I think the writer is just going IU's way - it will be difficult for IU to do the contrary as she is not someone with awesome acting chops

I really love this drama. LEE JOON GI really has a special charm, especially when he smiles! My heart is still…
I have to agree. This is my first Lee Joon Gi's drama - thought he looked very 'feminine' in his earlier dramas i.e. his younger days therefore hesitated to watch his old dramas.
