@Shannon So you've never watched "Coffee Prince"? It's a true classic you can't possibly skip as a k-drama fan!…
Coffee Prince was my first romcom Kdrama after only ever watching the fantasy/sci fi/zombie Kdramas. I really liked CP and im not a huge fan of the ott cheesy romance Kdramas. The leads were great, so much chemistry, so much tension/emotion bwtween the leads, the ML is so confused and the FL wasnt so bad as man, compared to some of the gender bender ive seen, i mean its so obvious sometimes that its a women 😃. I dont think its very dated. I think maybe ahead of its time. Really surprised me, quiet a brave show and dont think ive seen anything so brave since, from what ive seen in kdramas, korea is a very reserved country. Give it a try.

Honestly, the age gap grossed me out too, but I pushed past it because it was supposedly “amazing”, and it…
I think the actress has a childish way about her on other roles like Little Women. I watched goblin for ML and the bromance but i couldnt feel the chemistry with ML and FL regardless of her being a teenager and him being 900, but agree she was 19 going on 9. They easily could have her be in her mid 20s and just play her age without going down a creepy vibe.

There is 10 years between the FL and the ML in real life and there is 7 year's between the ML and his girlfriend in real life. So do you have an issue with that age difference too
? I think you should give up on watching, your misogynist personality wouldnt be able to enjoy it.

'oppa romance'.. 13 years age gap ❕" Dont mind me. Because people whine about actresses being 5+ years older…
This is soo true, so many comments about JSM looking like she was Jae Wooks grandma in AOS just because she is 9 years older. If its the other way around people dont care. Double standards!!

I get you, I think in the end of the day everyone rates a drama because of the feeling it gave them.Personally…
Its funny ive said this before, how people see things so differently. I couldnt see the chemistry with LJW and GYJ, felt it was very forced and uncomfortable. Whereas i thought he had a massive amount of chemistry with JSM. I absolutely loved the witty banter and the looks they gave each other, relationship evoluting into an old married couple. It was like they were ensync.

Its not funny how bad Part 2 was, being a massive fan of part one, i barely made it through part 2 and fast forward lots of epidode 9. Watching part 2 made me sad and annoyed, the beloved characters in part one, did not get the ending they deserved and the audience was subjected to clichéd romantic kdrama, with the main couple having no chemistry (and ive seen better of that genre) but become of my love for part 1, i had to see it to the end.

Agree!! You dont have to be a skilled fighter to be badass. She didnt even have to be an assassin anymore but to reduce her to typical kdrama damsel in distress character was just heartbreaking.

Im pretty sure the Hong sisters had no idea what to do in part 2, so they decided to do a cheesey romantic kdrama knowing they'd still get ratings and without having to put in too much effort into the story or writing.

Review Little Women
Yes, Kim Go Eun really did a good job, I think In Jo was the best sister both writing and acting wise. Maybe this…
I agree the alcohol issue was just brushed under the carpet too easily. I think that this seems to be a theme in kdramas, where serious issues are made light of and are never really dealt with e.g its ok not to be okay, where the underlying story is find someone to love you and they will fix you. Forget about getting professional help. I think the sister being an alcoholic was just the writers (poor) way of giving the sister a tortured edge.

Review Little Women Spoiler
Finally a review i can agree with, i genuinely have bee wondering if i watched the same show as some of the reviews out there. Ive read some reviews saying that the writing was amazing, really?? The writing was a mess, so many plot holes. Also the writing was so predictable but i think the writers wanted it that way or maybe at something stage they gave up. The sisters were hard to watch at times but i started to feel sorry for them, as they couldnt not being the shapest tools in the shed. Kim Go Eun played her role so well, i wondered if she is a really good actor or a bit like her character. Cant figure out the issue with the second sister, either the writing or the acting but she wasnt likable but could have been great. The third sister just disappeared and the ending with the third sister was just ridiculous but i understood why this sister seemed selfish. However, after the episode where the sister decided it was a good idea to run around the city with all the money in the backpack, i did the same, turned off my brain and started to enjoy the show. I think thats the only way you could enjoy this crazy show. I dont understand the such highly rated reviews though, i think 6/7 as the show did looked great, is an accurate score but this show had too many flaws to ignore. Overall this show could have been great if the writing was better..
