News Decent Watch
Recommended if: you like drama and queer characters
Not recommended if: you are looking for a clear depiction of romance
***
I went into this show expecting it to be romance-focused. Despite this not being the case, I enjoyed the intimate story of the leads. There's something heartwarming about their quiet understanding of each other, and how they choose to be with one another. It reminded me of another Japanese show, 'What Did You Eat Yesterday?', although that was clearly BL. I'd much prefer 'Soulmate' if it had a less drastic fate for Johan. Taecyeon's acting as Johan was great. I just wished that his character had a better ending with Ryu. Overall, it's still a decent watch. I liked it because it showed the beauty in human relationships.
