Title The Great Doctor Spoiler
Can someone please explain me, how the heck Choi young was able to fight 20 soldiers at once but now he has trouble killing assasin after assasin, though they weren't even fast enough to hit him????? But he got that lot of wounds???? Are the assasins made out of steel so he needs more strengh to wield his sword? And their blood is like cutting glas??? Seriously?

3 words: meanless + boring+ ANNOYING !! really disapointed ! :(
Either way. I believe that if someone has trouble with a drama that person is free to say so. Even if it is just half aired. And since people have a different taste, some are able to judge earlier than others. It's always the taste of a person and how the person experiences a drama

I somehow get bimbas point. Half the episodes are out, and I really have trouble with the characters and the story telling. The king for example gets really, really on my nerves. The only really great character for me is the queen. She rules. But at some points it gets really boring with a lot of repitions like "Oh she is fleeing again" and "oh the king will use her again". The conversations between Gi choel and the king aren't really capturing. I had a lot of historical dramas where I was hanging on every word exchanged between two forces.
There are a lot of nice points to like the comic sequences and as they brought up the diary.
I know that the king in real life wasn't really that amazing from what I read. He tried to make reforms but the nobles hindered them and it's shortly before goryeo falls. Also the king wouldn't have stayed on the throne if the General Choi Young wouldn't exist

As far as I know, they release 2 episodes per week. Recently, they haven't failed in subbing the recent episodes…
They extended ep 15 by 15 Minutes. And Ep. 16 will be aired next Tuesday (probably subbed on wendsday evening) also with 15 extended minutes.

I looked it up: We need to change the duration to 45 min. Ep. 5 dures 3x 14min 50 sek = 44:30 min
Ep. 12 takes 4x 12:30 min = adds up to even 50 min. I don't know why ppl say its still 30 min but that's wrong.
Also I suggest that we change the genre to romance, comedy and (maybe school). This is not a sitcom even if they described it like this before the airing. It has 16 episodes and not 100+ (I need a fairy is a sitcom with 107 ep.) Also it's imo just a normal teenage drama, just like Queen In hyun's man. Just because tvn tries out new drama formats and airs it back to back it can't really be called a sitcom (and it's tvn, have you seen two dramas there which were produced the same?). It could be that I am totally wrong and it takes other criteria to judge a sitcom or drama but i would be delighted if someone could wise me up.

I thought this was supposed to be 16 episodes. Only episode 15 aired yesterday, and accordng to this page its…
huh? I thought one episode had 45 min. And they aired two episodes per day (this back to back thing, which isn't such a big difference to other k-dramas which air two days after another imo) But that's not really twice es long if one episode gets a 15min. upgrade. But sad that I will have to wait another week for the last episode

I'm a little confused and may have missed something at the beginning... Seung Ji's grandfather has a daughter..…
Well it could be that I misinterpreted those things, since the beginning was a little bit confusing. But that's what I picked up

You know, but I somehow believe they are related but Seung ji doesn't know. In the first episode the grandfather was starring at a photo saying Seung ji and his daughter should not meet (or something similar). Also the daughter is searching for her son which she lost. And remeber the doing-up-a-bottom habit from daughter and seung ji. There are a lot of coincidences popping up here.

gnahh, how I hate it if people can't talk with each other in Dramas. And the role of Pan Da Yang is really spoiled for a person who has nothing but debts. Pretty annoying. AND OH MY GOD! HE HAS A TATTOO -.- He must be a really baaaaaaad guy.
The story is nice but some of the Characters traits are really unreasonable.

This drama is really awsome, but it's also the cruelest drama I've ever seen. Knowing the author and director…
Yes, i watched it (and it left a deeeep impression, one of the best in 2012) At first I couldn't quite understand, why they outlined north korea in such a benevolent way. But then again it was fiction and the main goal of the drama was that the viewers see that the unification is the most important thing, besides that NK is a terror regime. And taking IRIS as an example even there NK was portrayed as a country which isn't that bad. But dramas are quite a thing if you think about it. It seems like they can have such a political impact, even if it's "just" a manmade story. however that's the feeling i get about them and with this understanding it's rational why they present the relationships between the countries in such a way. That's what's so shocking about gaksital, since there didn't hold back there.

So far I haven't seen a kdrama with such a delicate story. Even when they make a kdrama about north korea they pay a lot of respect to the country, trying to not upset them in any way. Bridal mask is different because they impress it on japan which still can't reflect upon their past.

For me it wasn't just the torture (which is bad of course, but you've seen it often enough, take iris or a historical drama from joseon dynasty) But how ppl turn into monsters because of a stupid ideology.
You know there were many movies about hitler and the holocaust. This drama is exactly as cruel as those movies, and it's not like you watch them because you want to have a nice story. Bridal mask is the same and that's what makes it so cruel for me. It's great that they do it, it's awesome how they tell the story, but it's not a drama I watch for fun. Every episode leaves me in deep thoughts and with a nauseous feeling.
