i think i watch too fast to have a buddy. i imagine beginning a drama with someone, but i think i would just never…
That's why you rewatch something. Because you won't have the need to marathon watch it. But the hard thing there is not to spoil it. XDDD

THIS!!! It took me one year to get my friend to watch dramas with me. I knew she would love it, but she always came up with excuses like she doesn't want to watch it with subtitles or she won't get anything. Be patient and persistent. I caught her then with a movie (paradise kiss, because she is a seamstress) Then it was over and we started with boys before flowers. I think this is the best beginner drama for girls. For boys I would suggest IRIS. After that I showed her classics like secret garden and hana kimi. But you are completly right, it has to suit the person and if you hit the nerve your friend is doomed for ever XDD and the best together with you ^______________________^

If you lived in Germany are you able to talk fluently in german? Well i will switch to german then later XDD nice you lived in Nürnberg, i moved here to study and completely fell in love with the city. I am not studying psychology, sociology or politics but they are part of my major as social worker, and i am relly interested in it. Do you start College in Sweden already at the age of 16? Or do you learn about it at school?

Title Reply 1997
Ranked #1???? That just cause me to go lower my rating of this drama. Give me a break. It is ok, but it isn't…
I never thought it would become such a big discussion about tastes and ratings, and I was shocked, too. Now it's like this, let's see what happens if more ppl start to watch reply and the ratings go down or not. And yeah, let's party hard with the dramas airing now (Nice guy is awsome, I had a hard time breathing while watching because I got really nervous XDD)

XDDDDD
You got a point with the masterpiece argument, but surley there starts the next Problem: How do you define masterpiece? We both rated A Gentlemans dignity with 10. So what's the difference between Reply1997 and a gentlemans dignity. Imo both dramas are romantic comedys. Well made, good actors/actress, I got addicted to both and both had a focus on one social cultural phenomen. A gentlemans dignity focused on romance for older ppl and reply had the topic about extreme fangirlism (I never was a fangirl of the backstreet boys, but I had other bands for which I did really stupid things...) It was a story about growing up, and more real than some other ones. I don't give out 10 often, and I really had weird feeling giving reply a 10. But no other rating in comparsion to other dramas I watched would have suited it. So I understand the whole turmoil.

Title Panda and Hedgehog Spoiler
Warning Extreme spoiler till ep 11
Panda had a friend as a child which mother got into jail (in the scene you can see the burned down bakery and Park Mi Yang taken away from the police) She took the son/friend to her home. Then the dad came and took him away, but he never stayed with his dad (wasn't the dad the husband that was apparently killed in the fire?)
Choi Jae gyum had a son (mi woo) from his previous marriage who lived with won il for a short while and then dissapeard. No one knows where he is. I believe that child that got lost again and again is Hedgehog. Wouldn't that mean that Choi Jae gyum is the swindler who shouldn't be alive anymore. Evidence for my theory is that Hedgehog and the daughter have the same method to put on the partissier clothing. All three kids know the rhyme thought by panda.
But you know this is so strange because of the totally unstable timeline.

Title Panda and Hedgehog Spoiler
I am reaaaaally confused right now, and would wish for some claryfing help
WARNING EXTREME SPOILER TILL EP 11
The stroy is so damn messy.
The daughter of the grandpa, Park Mi Yang (?) was in jail because she killed her husband accidently; (??) after her son vanished she tried to break out and got an additional ten years (sums up to 20yr). They both went to the police station where they were told that her husband is a swindler and he faked his own death (???) and had a lot of operations on his face (Jang Byung Choel).
Ko seung ji lost his memories as a child. He lived a short time with a woman who raised him. The woman was then killed by gangsters. He got angry and killed those gangsters and therefore went to jail (did you get the unrealistic point...)

ARGH! Could someone please remove the related contend "Blood of the dragon peril"? Aside frome the Genre both have nothing to do with each other. If this should be recommend because of the genre, then put it down to the recommendations. This always irritates me when I come here.

Can someone please explain me, how the heck Choi young was able to fight 20 soldiers at once but now he has trouble…
Wooow that's a great conclusion, now it doesn't sound that stupid anymore. But you know, It would have been really great, if they explained that in the drama somehow, instead of me making assumptions and don't getting a thing XD

Thank you for your praise. I believe that dramas have a educational site, and while I am already watching, why shouldn't I find out about the background of a drama (when I have to wait anyway for a week) XD. I would feel like I don't get what's happening in the drama if I don't.
But I am happy if I can share my resarch information and someone found it useful.

Good drama until the end. The ending sucked... It was built up to be climatic and then it turned out to be anti…
I believe the problem with the end lies in the timline. The japanese reigned over korea till 1945 and the story plays around the 1930. The only reason, why korea was freed was because of japan losing the war because of the US. So what should they have done with the endig. They portrayed the rebels that tried to break away from japan. But history says they weren't the mainpoint. I had imagined an end after 1945 while watching, but this also wouldn't felt satisfaying. So the camee up with the other idea portrayed and I think it suits the drama
