Can anyone tell me if this Drama has the same quality as Empress Ki (as in awesome plot twists, logical thinking,…
that's a really encouraging comment. i am not caring so much for the romance but more for the pacing of the drama (I can't do slow paced historical dramas anymore where nothing happens for 10 episodes and they just do random bullshit which got nothing to do with the actual story, or stereotype characters which annoy me to death but koreans seem to love and therefore need to be in every goddamn drama)
Can anyone tell me if this Drama has the same quality as Empress Ki (as in awesome plot twists, logical thinking, epicness)? I have watched far too much korean historical Dramas and I have a really hard time to endure 50 Episodes of the same standard stuff again and again.
this would have made a much better drama. i loved it but there was so much going on that a 2 hr movie didnt do…
I thought so too, this would have been a badass drama. Something like gentlemans dignity. Maybe they would have screwed up, if they made it a longer drama, so I am not gonna complain. And maybe they will still use this to make a drama out of it
I wonder, am I the only one that thought that this Japanese action\detective drama suddenly turned into a Korean…
you weren't the only one. Through out the Drama i started to think this should have been a korean one. Although i liked the realness of the Drama sometimes it was pretty sloppy (there was a fighting scene were you were totally were able to tell that it was choreographed). I believe if this would have been a K-Drama, it would have been much more intense. K-Dramas are just better at handling these kind of Dramas, i believe. Maybe they will make a remake someday
someone needs to explain me how someone can guilttrip another person for something they did themselves. Jae Ho forced her into the car, Jae Ho was driving. His fault. She ended it cleanly. Does this make any sense? And what's this thing he lost his legs while protecting her and the baby. So if the accident with the truck happened 4 days after Eun Dong slept with Hyun Soo nobody would even know if there would be a child. And if he lost his legs later, she would remeber what she did. And how can you even protect someone if you are the one who didn't drive properly. So what the fuck is wrong with him. Or did I just not get it and she is to blame. If not, WHY THE FUCK DOESN'T SHE GET ANGRY? If people around me would lie to my face like that just for their personal gain, I would freak out and throw stuff at them.
I bow infront of Shin Sung Rok. I don't know any other actor who can portray evil guys like that. It's mindfreaking. His evil characters are so intense, that you can never trust him even if you seeing him in a romcom with a different nice guy role. It was bad after you who came from the stars, but now it's over, his expressions will never leave my head again. The evil characters aren't even similar too each other. The japanese version already sent chills down my spine, but this topped it. This was an awesome well done remake. They didn't prolong it unnecessarily. The background story they added was glorious. The characters great. Just an awesome to watch drama
I don't think it's that bad. After all i often wish that it would be so awesome if there would be western formats like dramas, and that dramas get more popular and influence western tv series style. And often i would like to tell my friends so badly to watch a drama because I am sure they would like it, but i don't since i know they would immedatly turned down because of the subtitles. Also if I think about how much i have learned about asian history because of saeguk dramas... It would be so awesome to have that for western history too. I also fear they will screw it up, espacially after the first season ist over (i can't even imagine what they will do afterwards) but I still think that it's a step into the right direction and will help to bring a diversity for western tv shows (not only vampires, doctors and crime stuff). So i hope for the best.
This drama could have been so good and then the writers came and just smashed everything. I don't think that it's the fault of the actors/actresses, after all if you are forced to say lines that are completely out of context, how would one be able to portray them the right way.
there is two things I really didn't understand. Why did Yoon Su say to the kid that he lied (I mean this sounds like they both exchanged their parents, and Yoon Su is not really Yoon Su, but since one of the kids has the birth mark, the mother knows who her kid is and who not) and why did the Doctor not shoot Chi Hoon and let him live instead. For the rest this drama was great
it feels like they are changing the plot line every fucking week. It doesn't need much more and we are gonna learn that Jae Hee is the daughter of Kim Jung Il and it was a plot planned out from the beginning, whatever one hospital in South Korea got to do with this
I watched the SP and was at first like: WOAAAAAAH THEY GONNA CORRECT THE ENDING. Then I watched it and was like: -_____-
beside making the guess obvious, the alternate ending didn't help. But it was nice to see how they produced the drama. It was quite interesting.
Seriously. They payed and payed, again and again to beat fate. And the last thing was his years? And this was enough then? They completly wrecked the system of that drama. You know what would have made sense? that they would live in poverty or something, that they were hit hard after their marriage like the mage told them. And in the end they would be shown how they are still happy, although they had to lose so much, but their love overcame the obstacles. But instead you see him giving his years. So he will die again first, and she will then commit suicide again. What a message for a drama.
I am so happy I can finally start it. I didn't dare to start it while it was airing. But the comments encourage me to get through. YAY~ I was so happy to find a Baekje drama. MUHAHAHA
