Dropped this after watching 2 episodes because I couldn't stand how they made Kanna not as cool as she is in the original manga. I've only just started reading the manga but damn, she did not get competitive with the woman her ex had an affair with at all. She was so much cooler in her reaction from when they met for the first time.
The actors did well but the story itself was very weak and left me feeling bored at many moments. I'm glad I read the comments cautioning against having high expectations before watching the movie because otherwise I would have been even more disappointed than I am now. I am a fan of both the manga and anime so it was kind of sad to see that there was barely any interaction between Kabakura and Hanako in the movie. This movie was a miss for the director, Fukuda Yuichi. I had really enjoyed most of his other works like Saiki Kusuo Sainan, Gintama and Kyou Kara Ore Wa. I hope his future work won't be as disappointing as this one.
I love action movies and I have to say that the swordplay in this movie was really good. Fukushi Sota's fighting…
I found this really funny MV of the Yamainu dancing to the ending song, Kagero by sakanaction. Do watch it if you want to see Furukawa Yuki do something surprising.
Just in case you want to know why they started dancing, the scroll about Orochi mentioned that they would have to perform a dance as preparation for the sealing of Orochi.
I love action movies and I have to say that the swordplay in this movie was really good. Fukushi Sota's fighting moves were mostly really satisfying to watch, it's even better than his action scenes in Bleach and Blade of the Immortal.
There were some parts that left me confused and I guess it would probably have made more sense to those who have had read the manga. The fighting scene at the end movie got kind of draggy but other than that, the movie was enjoyable. Definitely worth a watch.
I started watching this movie, expecting to be disappointed but when I saw the opening credit mentioning that this movie was actually an adaptation of the original novel and not of the Studio Ghibli anime version, I decided to keep an open mind and wasn't surprised by how different it was from the anime adaptation. I have not read the original novel so I cannot compare the movie to it but I would recommend those who plan to watch this expecting it to be an adaptation of the Studio Ghibli anime to drop that expectation completely as you will very likely be disappointed. Overall, the movie was a pleasant watch and it was worth my time. It was average and has nothing to rave about but I don't find any fault worth mentioning either.
OMG! This story was so cute!! It's been so long since I last watched a movie as fluffy as this. I'm so happy to stumble upon a movie in which the male lead isn't cocky or tries to keep it cool. The bento scene was so cute, it had me squealing! Would definitely recommend this movie to anyone who's looking for something light and fluffy to watch<3
This drama was pretty average but I really loved Enjoji! His dancing was always mesmerising and I would replay his parts again. I know there would be those who won't like him but I definitely need an Enjoji in my life!
This drama was so funny! And I never knew that the serious Ueda can make such funny and extreme facial expressions! It's so nice to see him being so ridiculous. Plus, Shigeoka is so cute here :3
I'm only on episode 3 and shit, it's good. While there are plenty of corny scenes and lines, its still pretty engaging so far. The story reminds me of the manga Akumetsu which is highly critical of the Japanese government and its politicians albeit there is less gore and violence here.
