Dropped at episode 6. Motoharu should have just left Mio alone and let her be happy with Tsuyama instead of saying and doing things that make her question things.

Thank you so much for the link!! Much appreciated!
Many plotholes and the borderline mediocre continuity is very frustrating. It was still okay at first but the later half of the series got me so bored with all the repetitive running, flashbacks and monologues. I only stayed on to find out who the culprit is. The final reveal was lacklustre too.
Sometimes this series got me wondering if the characters lack common sense or are simply severely distrustful of someone who's been living in and protecting their village for so long.
TLDR; the drama is not terrible but IMHO, you won't be missing out on anything by not watching this. I see a lot of people are satisfied with this drama so I guess it's just a matter of what you enjoy personally.
Good adaptation. As a fan of the original work, I am quite happy with this production. I found myself fangirling…
I am a fan of the manga and anime and started watching this with low expectations but I am so happy to not be disappointed.
In the original work, Kishibe Rohan is described as a man in his 20s so I had my misgivings at first about their choice to cast a 40 year old to play him. I am actually a fan of Takahashi Issey and his acting so, I was sure he wouldn't disappoint, at least not too much, and I'm glad he didn't.
Visual-wise, I would say that Takahashi doesn't really live up to how Rohan is portrayed physically but I'm sure that the many wonderful cosplays that I've seen has played into my biased opinion. Once I convinced myself that this is just a show about a middle-aged Rohan, I could set aside the visual issue and enjoy the acting and story properly.
Overall, I believe all the actors played their part well. The bizarreness of each episode was presented very well and the pacing kept me engaged throughout each story.
Some people might be put off by the over the top portrayal of some characters but that's just how most of the characters are portrayed in the original work. In Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, you get bizarre storylines, bizarre characters and of course, bizarre reactions.
Anyway, overall, this was a good adaptation. I can see myself rewatching this in the future. Also, I hope they would make more episodes in the future.
Good adaptation. As a fan of the original work, I am quite happy with this production. I found myself fangirling when I heard Rohan's voice actor, Sakurai Takahiro's voice cameo too. That was a good fan service.
Enjoji is the main reason I watched this. I love episode 9 so much because it's filled with him haha. I hope we'll get to see him find a new love if a 3rd season is planned.
I first watched this partway on my local tv many years ago. I think it was before the fighting scene. I remember feeling awed by the dialogue and by Ichikawa's posture and firm facial expression as he just sat there talking. I didn't finish it then because I wanted to watch it from the beginning.
I managed to watch it from the start on my local tv again and boy, it was amazing. I really loved Eita and Mitsushima Hikari in Sore demo ikite yuku and I was so happy that they got to act as a couple this time although still in a tragedy genre.
I don't know how many times I cried watching this and the final sword fight at the end was amazing too. It's definitely worth watching at least once and I think I'll rewatch this again a few more times too.

Thank you so much for sharing this. I really regret not seeing this earlier because I've missed the viewing for my country :( but thanks anyway<3
This was a fun watch. Definitely worth my time. I had to rewind a few scenes though just to understand what they're saying/doing. Anyway, I didn't realise that Seino Nana played Jaco. She looked so different!
