Beginning was an 8, the middle was a 7 and the ending a 6. I'd rate it a 7 because overall it was enjoyable. Some say it's the worst History but I didn't enjoy the first History at all. I will say it's got a different tone, but so did 4. My only guess is that fans were so upset by how dark MODC was that they decided 4 and 5 needed to be lighter to the point they start to seem silly.
Anyways, the actors were cute and the chemistry was good. I'd like to see what they could all do with a better plot.
Seeing lots of love for the other couples so thought I'd say I'm most excited for BohnDuen. One of my favorite bl couples! Looking forward to season 2 ^^
I am currently in Japan, Japanese native, and watched three episodes. This is totally different from Season one,…
I'm also in Japan and from what I've seen, the response had been pretty good. Some people are still rightfully upset but many of fans seem to be enjoying this season.
I was really worried about it becoming just one huge ad, but I think it's been pretty good? They haven't pushed it very much. I remember watching one Taiwanese drama years ago that revolved around Samsung so much that I had to quit. This has been pretty light in comparison
So I was a little apprehensive about watching this at first, but I love Chiba Yudai (and bl) and decided to give it a chance. And it's so good! Just as funny as the original. And something about the colors and lighting this season is just so pleasing to look at
what do you mean Krist is a homophobe? he was in Sotus-one of the absolute best thai bl shows ever made!
I would like to think their was some kind of misunderstanding. I met him once and he was so kind. Way nicer than I expected him to be even. Of course a 1 minute meeting doesn't mean I know his character completely, but he seems really genuine.
And I think his over the top reaction was just him being funny. I don't think he really cares that much. But also, how many times can you tell fans you're straight and them ignore you before you get annoyed? I've personally had an experience like this and one day I just snapped and said things I didn't really mean. It happens.
Also, what's wrong with watching bl shows that are catered towards straight women? Aren't we allowed to watch what we like it it isn't hurting anyone? It's not like it's taking away from the LGBT cause in any way ????
I used to kind of be a fan of the wrist grabbing trope until this one time a guy grabbed my wrist to pull me out of a dangerous situation. I was certain that my drama romance was about to start but NOPE. 2 years later and I'm still super single and I never saw the guy again. So now I'm jaded
I used to love gender benders but these days it's annoying. I got halfway through moonlight drawn by the clouds before I gave up. When so much of the drama is wrapped around one thing, when you take that thing away you lose what made the drama interesting in the first place.
Good article!! I enjoyed reading it!My personal opinions below about the two things I do not agree with this article.…
I totally agree with both of your points! I've hardly seen anyone (besides me) say anything negative about Goblin. And while kdramas are without a doubt amazing, I find myself watching more and more dramas from other countries and I have to say that I like Japanese dramas best. They're never too long and they don't shy away from making things more realistic even if it that means an unhappy end. But I'm also getting into lakorns lately so I totally see what you mean. (Though they tend to be so "rapey" and I really can't stand that aspect to them)
9/10 Honestly it had a lot of faults. But I haven't been this emotionally engaged in a drama in soooo long. I laughed and cried and raged and squealed. It was interesting from beginning to end.
