I'm so happy I kept watching this drama. Min Kyung was extremely unpleasant in the first two episodes, so I wanted to drop the drama, but the revelation in episode 3 changed everything. I completely understand now why she is like this and I just want her to find happiness once again... Both lead characters are extremely flawed, but they are lovable and they deserve to gain their confidence and health back, in order to be the best version of themselves. Thank you to everyone in this comment section for recommending this drama so much! It's completely worth it.
Yes, there is one confirmed and apparently another one. The first one is a couple from the FL's agency (which…
The actors/characters of the first couple are not credited here, but they're characters in their 40s and they're totally opposites: he's a farmer and he just wants to settle down in the countryside to take care of his parents and to manage this family's farm. He's very kind and soft-spoken. On the contrary, the woman is a director in a bank/investment firm, she's super smart, career-driven and very outspoken. Both are super cute! They're my favorite couple in the show, because they're very sweet and such kind souls.
On the other hand, the BL couple are Dai Ou Wen (played by Lin Yu) and Mark Lee (played by Anderson Cheng). Ou Wen is very hardworking, super nice, stylish and openly gay, whereas Mark is a womanizer, sleazy and who doesn't really put a lot of effort in his job; however, due to some circumstances, he starts to get very curious about Ou Wen.
Yes, there is one confirmed and apparently another one. The first one is a couple from the FL's agency (which is super cute, they're adorable <3) and the second one would be a BL couple between a hairdresser (ML's colleague) and one of the agents of the FL's agency. The ending credits suggest a BL storyline, but I don't know if a mainstream Asian drama would actually show that kind of couple. Hopefully it happens, it'd be good to show other romantic stories than straight ones.
It's not yet subbed. I think because it a sageuk/historical drama, subs are very slow. They usually appear a day and a half after the episode has aired.
I stopped watching after episode 8 and I'm waiting for the drama to be finished to catch up, but all the comments are telling me that the story is going downhill... Last year we had "Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol" and this year we have "Oh Master!" lol.
Thanks to what you said, I somehow can get over with the sadness I felt after watching the end of the drama (T0T)
Your welcome! I completely understand that the end is very unusual, because we are so used to root for the characters to find romantic love, but this drama trow us a curveball and it changes the focus of the story to the most fundamental and important relationship we should cultivate in our lifes: with ourselves. It's kinda bittersweet, but in a good way.
in my country the whole drama is not yet released on netflix yet :/ damn... which country are you in?
I think the show is only licensed for Netflix US and Canada or only US; however, I think it's gonna be available worldwide later. I'm in South America and the title "Run on" exists, but it is unavailable for now.
This guy cheated on her for sure. I'm normally all for "don't project your insecurities on your partner", but…
I completely agree!! He was a very shitty boyfriend, so they would have broken up even if she didn't have the STD... However, I think he cheated on her. He's extremely suspicious!! I hope we get the closure we need regarding this issue because Ha-yeong deserves so much better than this guy.
It's been a while since I've loved a japanese story in general... Hanabi's development throughout each episode is so so good. It's very unusual to see a female teenage lead character to understand that the only important thing is what you think about yourself and it's pointless to put so much importance to what everybody else wants from you, since you'll be left empty. What impressed me the most was the ending, because she did not end up romantically involved with anyone! That was so great! Although I was rooting for Hanabi to be with Mugi, they indeed had a toxic relationship... and I felt like Mugi only liked her as a friend. So all in all, the ending surprised me, but in a good way, because Hanabi picked the healthiest option: to love herself and to learn to open herself to other people, in order to cultivate honest friendships. I LOVED this!! <3
After reading the comments about episode 14.... I'll wait to watch it next week, so I can binge watch all last 3 episodes together! Thank you to everyone for sharing your frustration!
I’m wondering if I should start this drama... is it worth watching? R the leads good? The tags say strong female…
Yes, she's like Ko Moon-young! However, she's a little bit less... twisted and extreme. For example, I wouldn't imagine the FL of this drama to stab someone.
I really wish Fangning weren't so pushy and always insisting on having a kid with Ling Rui when he's clearly not…
Yeah, that's also bothering me. I love her personality, but she needs to learn that human relationships must be based on consent... I really hope she learns this throughout the story. However, I'm fearing that when she realizes she's in in love with Ling Rui and should take into consideration his feelings/thoughts about the progression of their relationship, she'll become the typical naive/candy Asian female character. I want her to maintain her overall sassy attitude.
Someone accidentally saw the drama shooting and posted in on instagram. Jun finally changed his hairstyle! https://www.instagram.com/p/CHH-RPthTiw/?igshid=13rsvubrl6nih
OMG!! He looks older with his hair like that, so I think there'll be a time jump in the near future...

Me too! Sometimes it makes more sense for the leads to not be together... and it adds more spice to the story, because we're so used to the predictability of the relationships between the characters.

Oh, I remember when "Queen Of Reversal" was airing, it was insane! This drama benefited from being 30+ episodes, since the SML started to gain more popularity than the ML and this gave time for the screenwriter to change the the last third of the story in order to the FL to fall in love with the SML. This was pure fanservice... the same happened with "How to meet a perfect neughbor".
