hahaha me too! everybody was raving about the they kiss again ending, but I was in the corner praying that they follow the anime ending because it was very sweet.
I kind of hope the ending has something similiar to the ending of they kiss again...
I don't think Kotoko is going blind on this one. Love in Tokyo is the only series that is based from the manga itself. It started with a kiss and They kiss again, and playful kiss (korean) were only inspired by the manga. They can't adapt the whole manga because they will be needing a license from the publishing company to do so. In that case, Love in Tokyo has the full license.
Getting back to the blindness topic.... No, Kotoko won't be blind because that's what the manga says so, unless they are changing the plot a little. But for me, i think they will based it off from the manga and make her not blind.
Wow, it's difficult to compare the Japanese version to this because they are soooo different, but both of them are really good. The Korean version explored more on the plot. Nonetheless, I love the straightforwardness of the Japanese version.
Honestly, I was more excited on knowing about the 'truth' than the outcome of the game in the Korean version.
And oh, I was doubting Jamie because I really like Fukunaga, and I gotta say I love them both now!!

I skipped some scenes on episode 1-3 thai version since I have watched the Korean version. But when I get to episode 4 until the end, oh boy, I was hooked, so I had to rewatch the scenes that I skipped and realized how good it was. I agree with Claudia. I didn't like FH1 and FH2 either, but Thai version is surprisingly good. You should give it a try :)

I stopped halfway through this Korean version because I couldn't stand the second lead girl! And Rain's character is just too rude and spends to much screen time with the second lead girl. It took him some time to realize his feelings for SHK's character. And what else? SHK's friends! No need to elaborate this further.
I guarantee you. In Thai version, there will be lesser screen time of the main lead actor with the second lead and more screen time with the OTP. The main lead girl's friends can be annoying, but they did a convincing resolution about the house issue. Don't forget about the OTP's chemistry though. <3

I gave it an 8 because it was dragging on some parts whereas I gave 1997 a perfect 10 because everything was perfect from the start until the end. Plot-wise, 1994 was better since it doesn't only explore the fangirling world, but also the economic situation of Korea around that time. I would say 1994 has more strength plot-wise compared to 1997. However, 1997 was executed perfectly, and that's the part where 1994 lacked.
