so the story was good, and the acting was okay.. but the background music is bothering me. It's repetitive, and sometimes there's no BGM.

you should watch the Itazura na Kiss Love in Tokyo (2013). It's the closest to the manga. I can't compare the two because they're both good.

the should've added the last 10 minutes of this special episode in the drama...

it's the only thing that's lacking in the entire drama, so it felt like making a 2-hour special episode is unnecessary.

Is it just me or this drama reminds me of X-Men?

I would say it took a long while for me to like HYD. before, I was leaning more towards BOF because I thought it was better (because it's Korean). I wasn't used to Nihonggo and the hair styles of Japanese actors. But the plot was surprisingly good and the chemistry between Makino and Domyouji is exceptional. After watching this the second time, I began to love and get attached with it.

Frankly, I got stuck near the end of BOF. It felt like the plot was dragging me. But HYD didn't give me that feeling.

Right now, I'm used to Japanese stuffs, and I rewatch this drama every time I crave for romance dramas :)

Is Ninomae alive?

I hate Nao being so kind, but it's nice that other characters covered up her mistakes.
At some point, I'm going to hate her, but after 4 minutes or so, it will just fade away because someone saved her. Well, I somehow like her for being innocent (as long as Akiyama is there to guide her throughout the game)

I agree with you. The episodes 1-5, 8, 11, and 12 were the cases the I liked. I guess the others are just fillers.

Why is this drama has a rating? It's not even airing yet :/

I want to savor the moment, that's why I'm patiently waiting for the subs :( it's one of my favorite drama after all.

did you watch it with the english subtitles? oh man, i'm 2 episodes behind because i couldn't find anything with an english subtitle.
