Had beef with the plot and editing with this one not with the actors...The political aspect ended abruptly but the romcom ended up cute.- appreciated the latter.
Yeah, I think a lot of us think the editing was quite poor...and the pacing...oh and the script as well now 😅
The plotholes ! Yes....unfortunately I wont be one of the viewers that rates would rate the drama a 10 overzealously...Came in with high expectations but unfortunately didnt work for me.
Same, especially ep11. One moment it's intense with all those sound tracks, and baam the next second we are off…
EXACTLYYYYY ! I started getting annoyed at the 2nd leads romance (even though I find them terribly cute) because they randomly show them after cutting some tensed scene abruptly
Does anyone else find the editing weird in this drama especially this last episode ? Felt like they were cutting the scenes off everytime they reached a pinnicle ? ....I mean its so abrupt...
The actors playing the PM and Queen mother leaving the strongest impression followed by the two leads....while I wont say their acting was 'bad' .. felt like they weren't really able to connect to the audience or eachother to create those memorable magical chemistry ignited moments.
They are still one of my top favorite cp. I love this loveable, bickering couple💗

I watched LBL and loved it...Shine on me and speed n love im considering but I hv my one biasis against them for now in regards to cinematography of the first and plot of the second.
And what ??? Im suprised ! Ive heard of upvoting a fav actors drama even if the plot what shitty but not the other way round. ?! I cant imagine POJ without him in it ! He was the perfect casting just as described in the novel !

Yeah ! Absolutely loved the couple here.....and the jealous husband troupe 😂😂 ZHL Characters seem to be allergic to the word divorce in EVERY Timeline 😂😂😂
Ps by any chance have u watch the drama ARE YOU THE ONE ? The main couple interactions are a lot similar there as well minus palace politics.... it's there but not as strong. If u liked this u might like that.
Well done drama with a fresh take on palace politics and unlike most time travel/rebirth dramas this one explores more morally grey questions about destiny & fate along with the cause and effect or more the butterfly effect of how one's action can vary a timeline.
Really suprised by the intense negative comments here. I honestly went in with very low expectations but maybe,hence came out enjoying this a lot more.
Other than the plot, A++ For the casting-they all performed excellent in their roles.I Enjoyed ZLH a lot here (almost comparable to how much I enjoyed him in POJ- But atleast I got more screen time of him here.) Fight choreography, background score and costume deserves praises as well.
Downsides - The poor '1st life' script - seemed a little tooo crazy to believe for me. -Chen he yi 's acting- I found him really difficult to relate to even with all his excessive screen time in the last 5 episodes where they tried to humanize the hell out of him. -OST- Other than 1 or two main tracks the rest are forgetable.
Overall an enjoyable watch, rewatch value may differ though person to person.- 9/10

I agree with you on the romance aspect of POJ...I adored their chemistry and I would hv loved to see more of it but dare I say I'm enjoying the romance a lot more in TPR here ! The jealous husband is really somthing else lol...his character probably rivals the hero in Wang churan's 'Are you the one'. I'm on episode 30 now and enjoying TPR Throughly !
