I remember watching this when it was first released. I didn't care about it then (this was before I got into asian movies and such.) I then went back and watched a bunch of andy lau, tekeshi Kaneshiro and stephen chow movies. I thought this movie was brilliant and deserves more credit than what it got.
I would put this movie next to house of flying daggers in terms of how great it was.
I loved how it had deeper meanings than what it showed s in the feelings Nicolas Tse and Andy Lau's characters had with each other (I wont get into that because its complicated as hell if you haven't seen the movie.)
Overall this movie is great and I love watching it over and over.
