The playfulness and closeness between Feng Nian and his dad was such a surprise, but I quite enjoy it. It's a breath of fresh air as the cunning father/mother is usually cold and dismissive of their child. Sometimes I have to remind myself of how calculating both of them are.
Maybe i'm reaching here, but I feel like the chief of justice (the guy that asked Gaon to spy on Yohan) has a 'dark side' as well. He seemed to be on par with the others during that meeting. It would be a great plot twist if he turned out to be someone we (or Gaon) didn't expect him to be. Because why would he show so much care to a student of his? Gaon mentioned that he got to where he was due to the chief of justice, but why would he do it for no reason? Especially in this dystopian world where we see people full of greed and ambition. It just seems odd that he'd do so much for a mere student of his just for the sake of doing something good. Maybe i'm just overthinking though.
Ga On is literally free loading on Yo Han and then he kidnaps Elijah to gain information.
He didn't bring Elijah outside to gain information on what was on the file. He even asked Soohyun why she asked about it, so I don't think it was his intention, but he could've seen it coming tbh.
I see many people disliking Ga On, but I can see where he's coming from? He was asked by someone he trusts to spy on Yohan, he feels like he owes that person a lot, so he agreed to do it. He's digging into Yohan's past to see whether he should watch out for him. Yes, he's naive, but he's also still a rookie who has a lot to learn?? If I were him, I'd be hella suspicious of Yohan too, so I don't get why people dislike him for it? I feel like his character is quite realistic and he's just finding out about all the corruption in the world, so I don't blame him for being the way he is. I've only watched 5 eps as of now, so I might change my opinion later but yeah.
OP didn't mean that Isaac didn't die but that he didn't die in the way Yo Han told Ga On in ep 4. Meaning there's more to it/ he twisted the story of what actually happened that day.
i've watched up to ep 8 and i'm debating whether to stop watching and start over again when all episodes are out. i keep forgetting what happened in the previous episodes as only one episode comes out a day. does anyone have recs on what to do ??
wanna watch this but some people have been waiting for the second season to come out for years and i don't feel like waiting + apparently Leo Wu might not return for the second season, he better say sike real quick
little fast-paced but i quite like it that way. it's good so far and i can't wait for the third ep to come out, but i might end up annoyed with the FL. sis almost died thrice in the span of two eps ? i get that she's a cop whose only trying to do her job correctly but c'mon, it feels like she's a headless chicken running around looking for death.
so many ppl saying they find the FL annoying and preferred ML with the sister but the second FL was soo annoying to me with the way she handled things. it might just be me but i got so frustrated by both female leads. literally found myself wanting to pull my hair out during some scenes.
