Until episode 28 or 29 (where the ML dies) it was just perfect and it was going into my favorites. After that, it went downhill. Steeply. The ML returned in the last 10 seconds, having merged with the emperor. I didn’t like it at all and I still feel bitter about it after a few other dramas.
Where is the comedy in this? I expected something light with a trope I like, but wow, from episode 8, it became a torture. I was ready to laugh with this drama, and it made me ugly cry. I hate dramas with serious diseases, so it turns out, it's not my cup of tea. I just watched ep 10 and I think I might drop it. And, wow, the FL's best friend is such a creep. I guess it's supposed to be cute, but how could she almost stalk a five-year old at the park when the kid told her to leave. And then, she stared at the girl while she was sleeping with that creepy smile, wishing she could be her mother. All her reactions were over the top. Just nuh-huh.
Unpopular opinion: all three seasons were 10/10 for me, and with each one, they got better and better. Loved everything about season three. That’s exactly how a zombie/monster/survival drama should be.

I'm continuing the last episode in about half an hour, and I've already prepared the tissues😂. This drama brought me headaches because of the injustice towards our ML.😭 Such a good person and only suffers.😒
This drama is that asian guy screaming "Emotional damage!". It's just too much. Tantai Jin doesn't deserve all this misery. I'm at the last episode, and I'm struggling to not bawl.
In my opinion, which seems to contradict the majority here, season 2 is better than season 1. My only problem is that Hyun Soo had too little screen time.
