Not that this has anything to do with the quality of the movie, but I don't understand the need to whitewash the lead when there are so many great asian actors who could take on the role. I liked Nat Wolff in movies such as Paper Towns and he is a good actor but the role of Light is another example of Hollywood denying minorities parts. (I will now step off my soapbox)
By the end of the show, my rating had dropped from a solid 8 to an almost 7. It started great and had a nice ending but in the middle there were some unnecessary episodes that were painfully boring.
Maybe it's because I didn't read the manhwa, or maybe it is because I had lower expectations, but I am really enjoying it. It may not be groundbreaking nor have award winning acting, but so far I find it entertaining and that is all I need from it right now.
So many but right now I'm really liking Henry and the acoustic version of Real Love. I heart many songs that have already been mentioned, such as BTS Spring Day.
I loved this drama until it lost me around episode 14 and I had to make myself finish it. I became bored which was disappointing because I enjoyed the first chunk of episodes.
I just finished this drama. It is my first of the reply dramas. I am so sad that it is over. What a beautifully written and acted story. There was not a character who didn't touch my heart in one way or another. At times I cried, I was embarrassed, I laughed and was angry. I went through so many emotions. I miss my Reply 1988 family already.
Hmmmm....what was that ending? I really enjoyed the drama but was very disappointed in the wrap-up. The last 10…
Not a sad ending in my opinion. (I don't think this is a spoiler but marked it just in case) I just thought the way they did it could have been a lot better. I'm still glad I watched it. I just wished ending didn't feel rushed and not completely tied up. It seems others here feel the same way. It was still a good drama.
I was upset to find out how long he knew she was a girl. In Coffee Prince, he falls in love despite his own prejudice…
I believe it is episode 9. He over hears the conversation in the vet office when she finds the heels and birthday card. We don't see that he overheard until the last episode and there is a flashback to when he first learned that she was a girl.
Hmmmm....what was that ending? I really enjoyed the drama but was very disappointed in the wrap-up. The last 10 minutes, I was like what are they doing ending it like this??? Otherwise such good acting and interesting story for the most part. Great multifaceted characters.
I was upset to find out how long he knew she was a girl. In Coffee Prince, he falls in love despite his own prejudice and society's. Finding out at the end Zi Feng knew for so many episodes lessened what I thought were moments that he was so in love with the person not the gender. My rating went from a 7.5 or 8 down to a 6.5 based on the last episode.
Thank you for the article. Well done. I've been thinking of seeing Twenty but I don't watch movies yet since there are still so many dramas I want to watch. I've only been at it for about two years. This makes me want to take that next step and watch some of his flicks. Thanks again for the well thought out article about such a yummy and talented actor.
I just watched 19 episodes with just a 4 hour sleep break, only to discover when I got to episode 20 on Viki it was not subbed at all! I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where I can watch episode 20 with English subs asap? Thanks, your fellow drama addict
FYI: Viki has it now so you can watch it there.
