Before LSS came to be YXW, the original YXW left TTJ kneeling on the frozen lake, he died there and became the Devil God in the initial timeline. So LSS was sent back just right before TTJ died on the lake and kept him alive instead hence triggering the change of events.

It finally came full circle. That was satisfying as f*ck. Nobody even cared if he fake chose YBC to be saved, it was terribly obvious what his real intent was. I was right over the edge the moment they went up into the vortex up until TTJ started picking up the pieces of the bracelet. My heart started breaking. And so begins the mania— TTJ is completely devastated, lost, broken, overwhelmed with grief, and oh lord when he broke the ice coffin and talking to the corpse of YXW, that was just so good, I cried.
