Second Time Around
For me, this second season delivered a more engaging experience compared to the first. While it retained the super melodramatic flair and high-octane action scenes that defined the series, it also leaned more confidently into its emotional core. The love scenes still brought that signature raw passion that fans have come to expect. The plot remains a bit chaotic, darting in multiple directions, but I found the twists and turns far more compelling this time around, even if some story arcs felt rushed or underdeveloped. Visually, the show continues to impress with its production values and cinematography. I also noticed an improvement in the acting. I especially liked the characters of Willy and Kenta and the chemistry between Alan and Jeff. That said, I do think the season could’ve trimmed a few episodes. Some storylines dragged a little, and tightening the narrative might’ve made the series feel even sharper. Overall, I was entertained. 4 out of 5 stars.
