Cute and Simple
This series was honestly pretty enjoyable in its own way. It’s plain, simple, and cute—and I think that’s exactly what it was going for. The story was straightforward and easy to follow, which made it light viewing. Sure, it could have been a bit more engaging but at the end of the day, it leaned into its “cute factor,” and that’s what gave it charm. What really made it pleasant to watch were the actors, special mention actor Hwang Jae Wook. They were gorgeous, and they fit the roles of mythical creatures well. I didn’t go into this with high expectations, and maybe that’s why I ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would. It’s fun, easy to watch, and has a certain charm that makes it worth checking out if you’re in the mood for something light. I give it 3.5 out of 5 stars—cute, pleasant, and just enough to keep me entertained.
