Allow me to disagree. Signal had a load of paradoxes and its end didn' t make any sense.
I don' t have problem with the sci fi part of the story but with the problematic end that looks like an afterthought. This is very unfortunate as it is not that difficult to avoid paradoxes if as a writer you keep detailed notes of what happens in each time line. But what it becomes obvious from all these time travel dramas is that the scripts are written while the drama is aired. That is how I assume that they lose literally the plot! lol
He was released on 19th of March (2024). That much punishment for a guy who pleaded guilty for eleven rapes.
I don't think that Canada is a failed state but even if it is for the reasons that you claim, Kris Wu had the right - according to international laws- to have representatives from his country into the court room. Otherwise the trial is as valid as the one that took place in North Korea against an American tourist, the guy that they abused him so much thst he returned back in vegetative state and died after a while. I don' t know if you read the wikipedia article, if you did so it says clearly that according to the Chinese law the Chinese authorities have to deport foreign nationals that have been convicted by Chinese courts. It is their own law not any kind of demand by the Canadian state. They haven' t done so and so it becomes obvious that this trial wasn't the most fair and unprejudiced one....

Ok I' ve read about his case. Krish Wu didn' t admit neither pleaded guilty for any of the accusations for rape that are IMHO debatable. According to the related wikipedia article the woman who first accused him for rape ( and I quote) accussed him of allegedly raping her and 30 other women (including minors). Her estimate of the number of victims was later changed to 24 and eventually to 8 in her subsequent posts. Then during his trial the Chinese authorities terminated 140 Weibo acounts because they were defenting Wu and they tried him not for the rape of the woman that originally accused him for rape, but for the rape of three other women in private trial and without the presence of any Canadian representatives ( as Wu has Canadian nationality). Without having any prior knowledge about who this guy is, it seems to me that the way that he was accused, tried and sentenced wasn't fair. I' m not saying that he is innocent, but a trial of a foreigner in Chinese court behind closed doors without any representatives from his country doesn't seem fair. Anyway the moral of the case is that the Korean judicial system is laughable while the Chinese serves specific political agentas.
Dropped after the fourth episode because the explanations were unrealistic and full of sudo science and the FL character pretentious. This drama is overated.
your comment is already 5 month old, i had this drama on the shelf for later. today, its public holiday from where…
Lol. I think that they overdoing it on trying to show the best they have. I mean to show off that they have high living standard and the best of everything ending up making unrealistic dramas. Is what I ' ve wrote once at viki forum where I' ve said that in Korean dramas will either drive Mazeratti or nothing else! The main couple are in a Mazeratti car in a street that has only Mazeratti cars! lol Or only Hyundais or only Toyotas depending who is the sponsor of the show.

No objections but it is all about how possible is to have a story about very rich people's love affairs vs a story of very rich people that live in a empty of other people megacity! Lol The latter looks like science fiction!
During the recording of this 2021 series, Shanghai was quarantined due to covid
Yes but this didn' t have to be depicted in the plot that is not supposed to take place during any quarantine. They could have added digital crowd or at least cars or something. Or add some stock scenes of crowd and edit then the plot as they often do in daily dramas that are filmed in studio.. And in any case this is not a good excuse for the unrealistically all new- all neat- all unspoiled sets.
The Ishihara character ( Kase Ryo) sounds more American and speaks clearer English than the black guy who plays the character of the diplomat from the embassy! lol Moral of the case. It' s not enough to cast a guy that looks like an Afro American, he should speak a bit more clear English in order to support this. He is the one that is supposed to have English as his native language after all not the yakuza character.

Wishing to be 60 because you would be technically old is the ageist way of thinking that you supposedly despise.…
Here is a more realistic hope and wish for you. I wish you to be healthy and active in your sixties and never feel that you need to retire from anything. We are getting old after all when we give up and retire usually after following the expectations of those that at the end of the day they are not living our life. They are not us, they are not in our shoes if you get my point.

You are togally wrong if you thing that all people after a certain age are loaded with money. The majority of people at the ages 50-70 are financially ubstable and that is the reason why many of them keep on working even after their official retirement. Now regarding ageism this applies on all ages though it is fondamentaly wrong. At our 20s we are supposedly too young to know anything and in our thirties not so experienced while in our forties it is supposed that we should be mature and even have a middle age crisis etc etc etc. though none of those is valid or applies to all people. The worst though is that society is expecting from each and everyone to behave according to his or her age; according to how many years old we are without considering our true biological age. And that is what is causing the mental health issues. Society's expectations and projections about ageing and not if we are able to do things after a certain age. This actress is stupid if she thinks that the really talented actors and actresses run ever out of roles. If she is a really talended actress she will keep on getting roles even in her 90s. Not of course those of the teenager or the young pretty woman 'sroles but then again acting is not about being just a young pretty face. Is about depicting characters of all sorts and manners. Anyway. My point is that if you think that you' ll be old and loaded with money in your sixties you will probably get dissapointed. I' m 56 I' m broke and I' m not old. Not yet.. :)
I am about her age maybe a couple of years older. The thing is when you are in your twenties, thirties seems old.…
Wishing to be 60 because you would be technically old is the ageist way of thinking that you supposedly despise. I'm f.e 56 y.o , I don' t look like 56 and I don' t feel old so why should I be considered old? If I can ride an Audax randoneur ( 200 km bicycle ride) then what makes me older than a 25,35,45, year old? A number on my id???? My father died btw at the age of 106 . If I have his good genes then I have another half a century ahead to live as an "old" person.....!
First things first: Jinman got into all that dispute with Bale just because he suddenly had moral inhibitions…
His job was job for psychos. It is not that someone who is working as a paid killer would ever expect to find normal people in this field! It is expected to find psychos, sadists and people who get satisfied by killing without remorse. He killed after all without remorse. He was paid to kill people and follow orders without checking the victims' background. Who is right, who is wrong and who can potentially be a collateral damage. So making him having moral inhibitions about the other killer's tactics is a bit pretentious to say the least. Trauma doesn't cause complete amnesia. And she was witness of multiple murders so I don't think that she couldn't make the connection between even the fragments of what she witnessed and the odd behaviour of her uncle. Giving her a bedroom without windows and making the house a fortress, teaching her how to use weapons...etc. Even his reactions when she was trying to win their "bet" was strange. A hose seller that he is in constant alert against any physical attack without showing any signs that he is trained in martial arts or similar. Even if she didn't remember a thing of what she saw... what the heck... she should have figured out that something was not normal.
The tragic thing in this affair is that two otherwise adult people ( that I don' t know who they are, I know nothing about their doings) have to inform their agencies and the public that they are dating....! Who cares and why should their agencies interfere with these people personal life? Why should we know that they are dating FGS.
No I have more important things to do in my life than checking other people's profiles or attack them for their personnal opinions. If you can't bare that different people might have completely different opinions than yours you are definitely at the wrong comments section. Try an echo chamber style comment section ....that might suit you better.
Well...I think that there are better romance films to watch. Real ones not like this that is a bit of everything…
Ehmmm....why watch a crappy film just for an actor? Actors can't save a film just by being there. They can enhance a good script, or well written character but not do that much else if the whole film is not that well made. I never watch films or dramas for the actors. I don' t even know who is who in some cases and that is the reason why I find very funny the MDL stats because they show me who are my supposedely most viewed actors that most of the time are completely unknown to me. lol
