For me, he is on the list of actors whose dramas and films I will never watch. Nice celebrity personalities are…
"a factory worker who works hard for pennies can be controversial, but someone who is paid millions for acting should have some decency"
Um, no. As human beings we should all aim for kindness and decency regardless of how much money we make.

Title True Beauty
ok so....some peoples are begging for S2, I mean seriously?? this drama was already draggy at the last 3 or 4…
Or maybe let people want what they want? Which drama is more deserving of a sequel is subjective, no need to tell others what's worth it and what isn't.

From my perspective, it's understandable because being a general and leading soldiers have been his identity for…
Love how you criticize others for not seeing historical context when you are refusing to do that yourself.

Just because there was no implied sex scene doesn't mean it didn't happen. 8 whole episodes were cut for some reason, it's very likely that the scene was one of them. Also you're naive to think that if you don't see something it doesn't happen. I suppose no one uses the bathroom then either!

And yes it's possible to be forced to change wives if it's the emperor's decree. We can argue about how shitty the emperor would be for forcing that but it doesn't change the fact that it's possible. It's not an insult to change one's decisions if one believes facts and circumstances have changed. By your logic consorts can never be demoted and officials can never be fired because then why promote them in the first place?

As for political games, there isn't just one way to play it. You're right, Duke Su never wanted to get involved but this position being given to him was never about what he wanted. You're missing the point that the emperor can pretty much do whatever he wants: he gives and takes, and when something like military command is given to you, it is NEVER a good thing to have it taken away. It doesn't matter how you play your game when you're no longer in the emperor's favor.

As for the love triangle, it's a plot device, I don't even know why you're bringing it up. Yeah I get you hate it, a lot of people think it's coming from nowhere but that's not relevant to your criticism of the whole general position and their marriage. Unless you're saying that those things would be ok if instigated by a different villain?

Lastly me telling you to stop making things up was because you brought up this bs:
Because writers intend to bring back Prince An into the game of love triangle. And there will be mental gymnastics to reason that. Something like "Brother, I as Prince An must marry ex-concubine Rong so that Duke Su could forget her, please make emperor edict". Emperor "Ok". Prince An " Please marry me that Duke Su would chose to marry Princess of Xihe in order to rise up in ranks". Rong "Ok I will marry you, because deep down I know in the end I will get back together with Duke Su" Will you still find this reasonable??
No I will not find it reasonable because you're literally making something up and then getting mad at it.

No need to call someone brainwashed because they interpret things differently. Maybe it's because you don't have a grasp of the Chinese culture and history? As a general, even if it was for a brief period, he was to set an example to his men, which is to put country and duty above all else. By rescuing Fu Rong, no matter how righteous the reason, he's shown that his priority is her. Again, nothing wrong with that in today's standards, but that's just not how things work back then. Men, especially those in positions of power, are often told to put their romances aside to pursue "grander" goals, and are mocked when they put love above country. So yes, Prince An was absolutely able to use the incident to damage Duke Su's character, painting him as someone unable to lead, and the emperor with his conservative (even for the times) mindset will of course agree, hence the whole separation suggestion.

Also you're completely ignoring the meaning behind this position. It's not just a regular job, but it signifies the emperor's trust in you. To hold an army, especially one within the capital, is to hold power in the courts, which means you don't have to worry about your political opponent trying to oust you. To lose this position because you're going against the emperor's orders can almost be seen as political suicide, especially since Duke Su has enemies. Fu Rong knows that and given the dreams she's had about him dying young, she would want to prevent anything that would set him down this path. If Duke Su is the general he's safety in court (and even his personal safety) is very much ensured.

So no, it's not mental gymnastics, it's history. Read enough Chinese history about the political chess of each dynasty and this is all pretty obvious. Also why are you acting like the drama is over? There's still 12 episodes left for things to be explained. Feel free to criticize the lack of explanations AFTER the show is completed, and stop making things up about what will happen.

you do know that's how she really look in real life right, she did a new show call graceful family check that…
Seriously chill. If you don't like an actress that's fine but is there really a need to continuously attack her looks? This seems like an unnecessary amount of hatred.

Title Memories of the Alhambra Spoiler
It makes no sense that Jin-Woo as a master decided to go around and kill NPC while Se-Ju was in some kind of dungeon.…
The Marco thing really bugs me too and I don't like how they just ignored his existence at the end. Isn't he a bug too so shouldn't the game not have reset since he was still out there somewhere?

Also I don't really get the instance dungeon part either. Is that an involuntary thing that you get stuck in and need for someone to complete the secret quest to let you out? Because otherwise why wouldn't Jin Woo come out and let people know that he's still alive, especially a year later?

As for the J-One manipulating the game, I believe Se Ju sent Jin Woo an email and attached the source code of the game so he can try it himself. So J-One def had access but parts might be encrypted/locked so only Se Ju can change it.

I haven't started watching this but the plot really familiar and closed with the manga below:https://mangarock.com/manga/mrs-serie-100056933Is…
That manga was adapted into a different drama: The Love By Hypnotic!

Totally agree with you! Gu Jian was so selfish during the who kidnap arc, and yet people are defending him while bashing Li Cheng Yin? I get the latter has his flaws, but Gu Jian was just plain selfish.

I felt the same way with the first 12 episodes but it does get better!

i feel like a gossip girl remake would turn too much like tempted, the cruel intentions remake. its a little too…
Not sure why it would be considered a ripoff unless they never acquired the rights to the story. Also using GG to generate buzz for a show that actually has little to no resemblance to the original will just disappoint the fan base. Not saying this will be a bad show, it could be great, but it's not a remake if they're changing the majority of the characters and storyline.

Never saw tempted but I can see how a GG remake can turn into a melodrama. But if they're making such drastic changes to the plot then it shouldn't really be considered a remake? It's a bit misleading since viewers would expect some resemblance to the original.

Was excited about the Gossip Girl remake until I read on Baidu that the only resemblance it has to the original is that the two main characters have a similar personality and dynamic to Blair and Serena, everything else is pretty different.
