A role well played is a mirror of a character. It's called acting. If she was to create a character that had such an effect on you, it's probably a result of excellent skills and talent. Sounds like she pulled off one heck of a performance.

A lot of people play saints, celestial beings, heroes, deities and even Jesus. That doesn't mean they are divine souls. It's a mistake to think you know the person because you've seen a character they've played.

I thought Zhu Xiang was incredible. He turned the assistant role of Ma San into a lead worthy performance.

Actually, I've been looking out for more from him, Li Yu Tong, and Shu Han Yu ever since I first watched this as "My One and Only". Would love to know who played the Clan Matriarch / Rong Jun Heng's mother.

The summary is glitchy. The infidelity is from Ruan Zhi's boyfriend, Rong Che (Rong Jun Heng's son). He gets his mistress (FL's green tea "best friend"), Xia Shan, pregnant. The twins don't show up until the very end after the ML & FL have been married for some time.

The plot to drug the FL isn't orchestrated by her cousin, but by her step sister, Ruan Jia Jia. Her stepmother is complicit.

Entertainment industry? The Rong family (familia? clan?) pretty much owns/controls Hong Kong's business community.
