After watching the kind of xianxia visual effects Youku (same company) applied to Veil of Shadows (live action…
well, yang yang does have a history of helping the team with his own money. plus there is the ip producers behind too, its not youku sole work. the new actors shouldn't be big either, only yy would require a big fee ((joy of life is a series that always get high budge + big names in the cast. it doesnt require much cgi, but still... lets wait and see how it goes
Park shinye and go younjung could also have taken it, and it’s also puzzling that kim goeun is nominated for…
then maybe they just liked it better 🤷🤷 interesting to note, however, that both are netflix dramas with big production companies behind it (kakao and studio dragon). goes against some people's claim that they were priorizing certain companies
I have one big issues with cxx: his lack of charisma. many mid actors achieve peak popularity by making up for their lack of skills with charisma. cxx have had a few great script choices, but his subpar acting and his lack of charisma killed the chances of hitting big. he has good looks, is unproblematic, chooses good dramas and characters here and there, so he could go higher if he could be more charming.
Of course BH Entertainment pays for their artists to be nominated 😅😅
bh has the most nominations because they clearly are better at choosing scripts and actors. there is not one single mid actor under their management. not everything is money, guys
I love what the director did in go princess go and it also worked well in the double because the tone was just right, however he failed to understand this was a story with a certain foundation. when you compare the two dramas by scene, its obvious his dramatic and over-the-top style wouldn't work and is so much inferior.
