I think the possibility of being outed is scary anywhere - as a southeast Asian person living in a western country, I find that eventhough it is scarier to live a life as an out person in my home country, being out in my current country (where people are considered to be more open to LGBTQ+ people) is still terrifying esp when the people around you are not also openly in the LGBTQ+ community. Bigots are everywhere, and it is important to remember that even in Thai BLs (literal queer media), they only started to move away from intense homophobic storylines in the recent couple of years.
I need them to sing in every episode bc their voices are just TOO good. Also GemFourth are both such amazing actors especially for their age, and Fourth especially shone in the last episode bc he has such an amazing emotional range!
Honestly can't think of a better series in terms of acting, cinematography, writing, plot, and romantic on screen chemistry.
I do wish that they explained WHY Jom time travels but hopefully there's a season 2 to explain this. For now I'll just take it as every reincarnation of Yai is just destined to love this Jom and that as the reincarnation cycle continues, more of that feeling and memories carries through but hugely hoping for a s2
Probably a hot take but I'm all for Wandee extending this slow burn cause technically they have only known each other for 4 months and personally it'd take me at least 6 months before I believe that someone is serious with me. Esp if it started as an fwb situation and the other dude was pining for someone else just the month before. So I am all in on this slow burn and I wish they extend this to 20 EPs and only get together on the 18th ep lmaoo
They didn't sell me on EP 1 but ep 2 came and I fell in love. GMMTV needs to keep utilising gemfourth's vocals because these dudes made this series their own the moment they started to sing. Fourth has a sincerity in him that just shines through every character he plays and he made Atom so so so endearing! I also love how we can start to see Kongthap developing that sweet spot for Atom, compared to the JP live adaptation where we didn't see Ida's pov until later on in the series. I can't believe how much I love this episode and I actually think this is going to age really well especially when every episode comes out and we can binge it in one go.
I liked that they inject personality into the characters and it's not just a blatant copy of the manga and Japanese adaptation but the writing and directing could be better in so many ways ngl
Ok this is the only thing I have against this series! Orthopaedic surgeons often do work in tandem with paediatric…
Yeah honestly these things doesn't really detract from my love for the series itself! I'm sure the vocational stuff are more to advance the plot so as long as the romcom is still good, I'd still love this!

Yeah, main doctor would be a paediatric oncologist! Technically in oncology, it's divided to paeds oncology and general oncology. Ortho is a separate department that may be asked to consult. Dr. Dee would likely to just act as a consultant in this case, even if he does specialize in paediatric ortho.
And yes, if it's inoperable then ortho does not have much say in the kids treatment really. But again I'm glad we don't actually see Dr.Dee doing any sort of treatment on the kid and most that we've got jus looks like he's doing physiotherapy on him (which is weird for an ortho surgeon but whatever).
I see.So, Dee is working on a research about Sarcoma on children. It would explain why Dee, possibly an orthopedic…

Orthopaedic surgeons often do work in tandem with paediatric oncologist for osteosarcoma cases, but paediatrics is a specialized field so he needs to work with an attending.
That's not even my biggest issue though - aside from doctor patient relationship conflict, why would an orthopaedic surgeon deal with a RCRSP (or as dr.wandee said, shoulder tendinopathy)??? It it's a once and done cortisone/PRP injection I'd get it but Physiotherapy work is for Physiotherapist to do??? PLSSSSS
Maybe this is what engineers feel like when they watch the engineering BLs
if not for greatinn i wouldn't be watching this i hope gmmtv gives a meaningful show for greatinn in the future…
Idk, I think "meaning" is incredibly subjective - I love that this show is lighthearted, have reps from other LGBTQ spectrum other than just the gay leads, the leads have a great friendship and is supportive of each other's aspirations, and also has good HPV education on top of it.
I think sex does not necessarily detract any meaning from the show - the sex scenes are not inherently vulgar either, it is silly at times and they just seem to be a fun part of their relationship as opposed to something that is purely sexual.
But again, what constitutes as "meaning" is highly subjective.
I love this series with all my heart but I found the ending kind of unsatisfactory? I don't like time skip in general but if they could actually talk their problems out I'd have enjoyed it more.. I'm really hoping for special episodes to show proper resolution or fill us in on what happened in the 4 months.
Having said this though, Sibgene's chemistry and intimacy is no joke. I can and will never fault the actors for their portrayal of Sibgene, they did amazing and I love their love.

Let's just hope the surgery is for another patient who needs a joint replacement - it's almost impossible to mess that up!
Thankfully this hasn't bothered me much actually, the only crack up I got was when Dr. Dee held the stethoscope the wrong way around lol
