I was afraid of the ending based on these comments - but luckily it turned out to be perfect! Not all series need a happy ending, this certainly didn't. This was brutal, raw, and hopeless from the beginning . The series, like the main characters had only one goal, and it was reached. Loved it.
I’ve heard wonderful things about this drama, and I’m sure it is fantastic and I have full plans to watch…
I always thought it came from ep1 when Hye Jin asks to repair her car, and uses the word 차 cha. Doo Shik understands it as 차 cha for tea, and is confused for a second which 차 cha they're talking about.
This is how I like my romance! Just when you thought the leads' connection couldn't get any deeper, they somehow seemed to be more in love.
I loved the ending too; the 'enemies' as if winning and getting what they desired... Yet having nothing but emptiness and loneliness in the end. It was very realistically portrayed how greed results to nothing. So good.
This was pretty tough to watch! I used to handle gore better so I'm not surprised that it was too much for me - but I think anyone who loves gore, horror, violence or anything pretty dark, will love this too.
I thought it was beautifully made though; loved the visuals, directing and storytelling. Especially the black and white episode was soooo pleasing to watch just for the artistic choices.
This was a touching story about trauma healing, connection and growth. I love dramas like these that have a lot of depth, they usually go deep too and stay with you for a long time.
I watched this over ten years ago for the first time, and have since rewatched it every time I feel like watching something cozy and having that giddy feeling again! Taiwanese dramas of this era are golden.
Ughh, I loved this so much. Loved the acting, the two strong and equal main characters, the story, the romance, the soundtrack, the tension that was just right... One of my new favorites, definitely.
Thank you! ♥ As someone who hasn't watched many Thai dramas, I love hearing from those who have already seen plenty. Found something new to watch from this too!
This was so important. Makes you question your morals, see all people human and worthy, while it also makes you understand how society can view some people as inhumane. Multilayered and deep. I have a soft spot for shows discussing and normalizing mental illnesses, since that is so rare in Asian media. More shows like these are needed, this is how we spread awareness and understanding.
I rarely binge-watch shows but this got me hooked! The beginning was a bit messy and confusing but it got better. Adored all the characters, they had created so many interesting personalities, families, backgrounds and relationships. Heartwarming despite some tougher parts ♥
The story is sooooooo good but this one had a problem with telling it, the pacing was horrible.. It had so much potential but I think I'll have to watch more adaptations to be satisfied! Acting was very good though.
This was so refreshing and heartwarming! I felt so at ease watching this, I recommend to anyone in need of a good-feel drama. I also wish we could see more characters like Gin in dramas.
