i started this a year ago and just finished it. it was... something... i remember really enjoying the first 7 episodes, but after that? well... it was mediocre and i couldn't get into it properly T-T tried hard to like it but nope. the effects killed the mood so much, and let's not talk about the sword. i hope i will forget this drama soon, I'm traumatized (jk!) xdd

At first, i was very sceptical, and honestly, the first 6? episodes were hard pass on me, when the plot finally moved to college just then i started to enjoy it. some moments were really cringy, like a lot, that times she used that "girly" childlike voice i got goosebumps xd but it was fine besides that imo.
The biggest turn for me for the couple happened when they were just before dating, the moments were cute and fluffy. and I'm very thankful for not any big misunderstandings!!!

what i liked most about this drama, was probably the acting. idk why but in most dramas, the relationships between friends/family feel forced and not there, but here it was just wow. i LOVED the scenes between her and her brother, it was the most real sibling combo i ever saw on screen xddd the hitting? the blackmailing? calling MOM every second they were about to lose their argument? the fake crying, pouts... stares, and smirks and moments when they were there for each other even through their differences?
LOVED IT!!! (Sang Yan come home, I'm waiting for you bae T-T)

and the friends? the interaction between them felt (mostly) the same way. the teasing? being there for each other? not hating on someone when their crush likes their friend, even if it feels bitter? there were many moments when i related to the friend group and could actually see the conversations happen irl...
also the couple was sweet, and the ML was a real charmer xdd. enjoyed their scenes also, tho the kissing could be better, cant remember how Zhao Lu Si kissed in her other dramas but here it was like a fish with an open mouth (I'm sorry but that was the first thing that came to my mind after seeing it xd T-T)

so yeah, what i loved the most was the friendship/sibling bond xddd and i will def rewatch some scenes (not from earlier episodes tho, it was really not for me) AND Sang Yan lol, i liked him more than the ML (even though he also had moments) xdd

i think it tells a lot that even tho i rewatched season 1 in a day before starting this i still couldn't get through it in one go. i started this season when it just got released and watched almost 7 and half episodes, but I'm just finishing it. (funny is i wanted to savour the last 2 eps, watch it in the morning, to be fresh, but well it didn't happen like that, and when i finally had time to watch this was really not my priority, not top pick)

The first three episodes were good, we had the "old cast" and all, i really enjoyed watching it. but then the next three episodes happened and well it all went to hell there. excuse me what even was that weird af time skip? BIG NO. The soldiers' talk was boring af i skipped almost half of it cause really? who cares about that when i am still not over that weird time skip and don't get anything?

In 7th episode, i thought it would get better when you-know-who appeared again but to be honest, the good parts happened like 15 minutes before the end? xd i am so disappointed T-T (im glad that i gave myself a break cause i would be devasted back then when i had still hope)

the final scenes were great tho! i finally got the feeling I was watching Sweet Home, similar vibes to season 1 and all. overall i gave it 8/10 just because of the end lol

i hope season 3 will be better cause getting this after waiting for 3 years is disappointing

the kisses in the bed were horrible, i got second-hand embarrassment T-T overall it wasn't that bad but i enjoyed the first half of the drama better than the rest. KYD was probably the only reason why i finished xd

I wanted to cry every-time the Fl had tears in her eyes… not in the good way but bc she really didn't have much facial expressions the first 10? Episodes besides the tears. I cringed a lot sorry, at first i was like okaaay im not new with this trope as i read it million times already maybe it will get better, but nope couldn’t get over her continuous crying 😭 i like the final episode a lot the actress has pretty smile, but i dunno it still felt kinda hollow. I think i like this trope better in manhwas cause while watching there is really no space not to cringe especially with the sisters🤣
