He didn't fight for her, that's why it ended. And they are both too damaged to be good for each other, with her…
exactly. it's even more of a shame to me because ina's regret towards that relationship was that she wanted someone to ask her why and pull her back. because she expressed that to the ML in the car under the rain, he had to courage to run to her in jeju. both FL and ML learned from past relationships how to be a better partner. lol too bad they didn't have the time to watch filing for love to learn that way instead
not all the details were revealed but ina and jaeyeol's relationship seems like it didn't need to end back then which is kind of sad imo. maybe they could have been the right people for each other but it was the wrong time for ina because she hadn't known how to be happy and kind to herself yet like how ML taught her in the car under the rain. it's just sad to see because she was jaeyeol's rock in his tumultuous life and now he lost that and has no one else. I saw that he was devoted to ina but perhaps he never tried to unravel/investigate/explore her like the ML . sorry I can't think of a better word
my face blindness made me think that the girl that kissed the ML in the staircase from ep 1 was the same girl that's the ML's roommate/ex-gf/and SML's assistant. the ML had two ex-gfs in ep 1 + another girl with curly hair who was trying to ask him out! he's cute and kind so I get it but I'm surprised with how many workplace relationships this guy has had
Episode 6 - After FL let another woman punch her in the face and pull her hair, I had to turn it off. In my eyes,…
maybe she lets herself get beat up because of her trauma. she lets her image get ruined by rumors and acts strict to keep a distance from everyone + to not let anyone know her true self and story
kind of crazy that it's the 21st century but they don't have fire extinguishers in each building and only have water buckets. I can understand a lack of sprinklers but surely an emergency fire extinguisher is ok to have considering how the previous king (supposedly) died
a romance from the ML's pov!! seeing him look at her like she's angel from heaven since ep 1 even when he had beef with her is so swoon-worthy, seeing him fall for her and her actions sticking in his mind after clocking out. I love that all the girls in his life enjoy teasing him lol
I wish do gyeong's character got to have more presence in the drama but I was glad to see his miniatures hobby appear again at the end. The priest character was also odd in that I expected him to have more impact on the plot but he wasn't even at the dad's goodbye lol.
the villain's line of "if I intended to apologized, I wouldn't have done it in the first place" was memorable. but this is another drama to add to the list of "first 20% is interesting and the rest is just waiting for it to get interesting again but it never does"
I actually started watching this series for Jeon Seok Ho (brother in-law) and KIM MI KYUNG!!! Was kind of disappointed with how little they appeared on-screen but I knew KMK 's character would not the be gullible type and I can see her being the key to taking down Chairman and avenging her husband.
it's very new for me to see a ML who has to solve crime never be able to hold himself up in a fight, he gets beat and falls to the ground every single time. He's a kind ML who will throw himself to protect someone but can't dodge or block or hit. I think the MLs who are rich, smart, kind, and can fight athletically on top of it all can be forgettable
I didn't like how they split up the shoemaker's story into two weeks bc I felt like the emotional impact was being interrupted, esp bc they didn't do that for the previous cases. and it looks like if the next case is following the same pattern of 2 eps to solve it the it will also be spilt. BUT I think I'm ok w it because the last scenes with the NK mom and son and the husband and wife having mutual feelings made me tear up
this is my first ghost law/crime drama and I'm really impressed even with only 2 cases solved. the pacing was a good balance between show and tell when portraying the lead characters. and the side characters and subplot are intriguing and interwoven into the lead's story well so far
and the comedy and heartwarming aspects were impactful without making me feel embarrassed lol + the pacing didn't drag while giving enough time to everyone.
I'm very curious about the wi hajun look alike, he seems to be a pitiful antagonist
we all know PSH was great in this series, but seriously all the other actors were amazing too. I really liked seeing lee deok hwa play a bad guy when I'm so used to his sweet old man roles. all 4 female lead characters were balanced and used perfectly. and so bang cha hit the beats very well too. so many characters, but they all were welcomed whenever it was their screentime. you know when there's a useless side character that shows up too much. not here!
