something I really like about this drama is how viewers are put off by the FL (MC) of the story when she begins to live in the seaside town, but mirroring how she eventually warms up to the town, I also eventually started to become very fond of her. so please give it some time if the first couple episodes don't pique your interest!
y'all...I have a feeling I shouldn't rewatch this kdrama after enjoying it so much when it was airing 😭 I want to trust my past self and relive the butterflies but I tried that once with SWDBS and it ended badly (couldn't even finish the last episodes!) I'll just take everyone's recent comments and reviews as a warning to let the happy memories stay happy memories

okay, I changed my mind a little bit after reading everyone's replies! thank you everyone~ i realize now that I too am unsure of what kang bit na is feeling. there might be a twist on expectations like in the endings of ep 1 and 2. I think we'll be able to get a better understanding once more characters come into play (like maybe ex fiancé and/or his family)
I remember watching this before aos s2 was released and had no idea I would see shin seung ho. I yelled (in my head) THE CROWN PRINCE IS GETTING BEAT UP!! he was a thug here too and I kept thinking about a turtle

I agree with her on how he's cute like a puppy but it's still too early for something serious to develop imo

and call me bitter but I still don't like baek ryu's mom. in ep 9 she yells at her daughter saying it was so difficult to raise her, then in ep 10 she admits that she gave more care to her son and let baek ryu figure things out on her own. It also annoyed me how she (and her dad) complain about financial situation when the mom often hangs out with her friends and goes on hiking trips, while the dad doesn't seem to have much of a social life at all and seems to be the only one with a job in the family now.
and how NOW finally in ep 10 they decide to give her a warm welcome (as opposed to her disastrous welcome in the first eps), after they found out she had cancer?? like why does someone have to survive cancer to be treated kindly. It was a kind idea of choisseung tho

absolutely agree! but I just didn't like it that she had to break up with him and erase his memories of her right before, wasted a perfectly good episode where we could have seen more couple moments together instead
