not at all...I'm happy he's alive but he's the girl's father? it just feels awkward...specially that he probably knew all that time but he kept using her (even for science) and ended up pitting her identity at risk (and she herself was at risk) it just doesn't fit his character!
I had my doubt from the since she said she didn't know her father but I hoped I was wrong :D

You're a history fan...I suggest you to watch Startling By Each Step! it made me read everything I found about Qing dynasty :D I know it's about china but it's worth it (it made me notice lots of differences between the maids system in the 2 countries too)
