Most of these are weekend dramas not daily...and while I enjoy many weekend shows (50-60 1hr eps twice a week) I never enjoyed a daily drama (100-120 eps 35 mins five times a week)...the best dailies I watched was 6/10 worth..
Except for a few rare dailies, I wouldn't recommend dailies even to my enemy...repetitive, long, super makjang, poor quality, poor acting most of the time...even Korean broadcast channels know they are just to fill empty time...they are usually given very low budget even if the ratings are high.
Weekend dramas mentioned here (usually have good cast and more well known writers and better side characters development due to longer episode length):
Glorious Day
Father, I'll Take Care of You
New Tales of a Gisaeng
Twinkle Twinkle
I Have a Lover
Dailies mentioned in the article:
Unknown Woman
One well raised Daughter
Love on a Rooftop
The plot made no sense from the beginning to the end...the acting was great though, so it became bearable till ep10 & 11 hit me...
Maybe because I'm older now...but I can't understand these way too dramatic to believe plots anymore
how do writers write this shit & pretend it's poetic & sophisticated..
4/10
I was actually thinking the same today...lol
He is friggin' gorgeous...man no idol from Korea, Japan or the universe can beat him in his peak days...Just seeing him dancing and singing on stage...delicious xD
and He remains the best in my eyes
Evil twins - crazy obsessed guy (other than the lead) - mistaken identity - kidnap - lost in the forest or on a deserted island - rape - drug dealers - mafia wars - contract marriages - gay/trans friend...etc.
Call me outdated but I prefer Wei Wei to that Bao guy...she used to be a block of ice but he waited & waited and slowly broke her walls...even if their relationship is still sexless...the fact that he is still willing to wait...isn't that a sign of true love...not to mention he is her best friend!!! I know they will break up so I'm not shipping it hard...but damn I'm shocked by the comments that call Wei Wei creepy for being persistent...if he was good looking like the Bao guy no one would call him creepy...also why is everyone cheering for the girl to dump the guy who is putting effort just because a pretty girl deserves better?!!!...IDK!!!
be brutally honest how was it as a overall consensus
First ep was the main characters intro...hard to judge the plot but it wasn't boring, many funny scenes, good acting, good directing and high production quality.
overall a pretty nice pilot ^^
I don't wanna disappoint you all,,,but I doubt there will be any form of romance...they may bond a little & have a nice partnership...but I doubt "romance" so let's relax & enjoy the show ^^
not that I complain.
