A girl lost her husband and must face her life alone with people wanting to take advantage of her.

Plot/Story
This is a drama of romance sprinkled with suspence and secrecy. It tells a story on how gullible most of us on our daily life are. Our life is full of lies, deceits, and we are being manipulated by those in power, be they would our own families including our parents, our friends, our work place, our societies or even our authorities. The world is basically going around involving money, and no one can avoid being influenced or affected by it. Furthermore, it is even worse for those who want to live a simple life, or relinguishing their life to others. It only dawns on them, when one day they have to suddenly face their life alone. It is like someone who does not know how to swim and suddenly has to jump into water - be that a pool, a river or an ocean.
Ruan Zhen Zhen is a young girl, who married a financier who she knew from childhood. She is a loner, surrounded by just her family in-laws, as well as by Su Wen, an ambitious girl who shared an unusual past medical history. Unusual, as despite their differing personalities and ambitions, both has been considered by others as "two peas in a pod" through a unique and secretive bond only shared by themselves.
The sky is falling on Zhen zhen when her husband suddenly passed away in an accident. Starting with his own families, she had the misfortune to be burdened in such a young age with heavy lawsuits. Everybody thought that she has the money that her husband mysteriously collected through his financial dealings and currently unaccounted for. The company where her husband work, her families who did not particularly approved of her, and her lawyer assigned by Su Wen are all looking for the money and some other valuable things. Even her close friend - Su Wen was not known initially for her intention towards her.
Slowly the drama took its twists and turns, and finally provided her with some guiding lights toward her future and independence, while finding a new true love along the way. You will find that Zhen zhen hardly smile in the first half of the episodes, and when she started to open up and felt more secure and happy, the audience would feel the joy and share with her excitements. At the end, her forgiving character provided a warm feelings towards the one sad, cold feeling, simple minded and in-experienced girl who was portrayed in almost half of the drama episodes.

Cast/Characters
Casts
I like both of the leading players of this drama: Elvira Cai Wen Jing as Ruan Zhen Zhen, and Peng Guan Ying as Lawyer Gao Jun/Tan Sheng. I can feel the genuine sparks in some of the episodes that they played. Elvira has her natural beauty, with her beautiful eyes, her luscious lips, her dark, long hair, and her slender figure. In one episode, she had her straight hair changed to a pony tail , but it did not change her very pretty appearance. Peng has his tall figure, and his handsome face. The contrasting 1.65m of Elvira's height and 1.89m of Peng's height was just perfect when they were filmed close together, especially when they were hugging with close feelings to each other. There was one episode where he showed his height chart on the wall of an old factory where he used to come, which showed moments of romantic encounter between the two of them. Then, there was another occasion where they were talking about love notes that was written by him and posted in the old public school.

Characters
The first half of the drama mostly showing the sad and sometimes upset or angry Zhen zhen. Her often starring eyes penetrated to the people who met her. It portrayed well on the character who was lost, confused or frustrated with her conditions. When she started to warm up and accepting more of her lawyer's attention, it was nice to start seeing her smiling, showing her charms, and more talkative character. The conversation between Zhen zhen and Su Wen was priceless to watch, when her heart started to warm up as she talked about her lawyer trying to kiss her for the first time.
Lawyer Gao Jun's character was business-like, but it was difficult to judge since the beginning on how he liked Zhen zhen, or how he had his own agenda and be a deceitful person in this drama. Nevertheless, he gradually became fascinated with Zhen zhen's character, started to express his feelings toward her, and looked for an opportunity to stay or get invited into her home.
Yang Yi Tong, who played Su Wen was always business-like, modern person. Her presence since the beginning make people wonder about her actual role or agenda as a close friend of Zhen zhen. In the end, it was Zhen zhen who provided Su Wen with help in shaping her own future, while keeping their close relationship.
In this world, there are always characters such as Mr. Fang - the big boss, who just sit in the office, drinking coffee or wines, entertaining some friends, waiting phone calls, or gave business orders. There are other characters, such as the nervous operation manager Mr. Qiu, or his subordinate Mr. Lu Yang, whose intentions or agenda were in question.
Zhen zhen husband's family has always been pestering her life and made her miserable. You Gang - her brother in law was a useless guy, who liked to gamble to get an easy way out, dealt with shady loan shark characters, and liked to drink. It is sad to know that he has a pregnant wife who needed his love, care and attention. In the beginning, he was nice to Zhen zhen and helped her, but he then got himself into financial trouble. Finally, he sobered up and changed his way around to help those who are more important to his life.

Music
A quite catchy, but sometimes eerie theme song. It has a mystic tune and lyrics which contain beautiful whispers of romance and love. The music in this drama sometimes gave hopes to those who are sad, upset or facing difficult life. At other times, it provided memorable moments to watch and support the characters of the drama.

Rewatch Value
I have enjoyed rewatching some of the episodes containing the beautiful moments. Iblike to watch the moments when Zhen zhen started to smile and appreciate the help of her true friends. I like to watch the beautiful sceneries, night shots, and moments where Zhen zhen and Gao Jun were close together.

Scenery/Filmography
This drama contains excellent cinematographic techniques, with beautiful sceneries taken on night shots, fireworks, glowing beach at night, spectacular shot of the library, shots of winding roads and grandma old house, and the white coffee house on top ofvthe hill facing the water front.

Personal Comments
- Elvira Cai is just simply beautiful. She has excellent acting abilities, grace and charms.
- I also like Xiao Wu as a support role and though lady.
- I was confused when in one episode, there was Zhen zhen's 18th birthday. Was she supposed to be that young? It made the lawyers and Su Wen being in experienced, considering they are senior in her school, but must finish their university education. Should this be 28th birthday instead?

- 1/2 Coffee house on top of the hill with spectacular view of the waterfront.
- a magic moment when Zhen zhen laid down in a sofa, and GaobJun gave her the sugar cubes, and she did the same...

Story
Appears to have lots of co-incidences, although it is supposed to be living in metropolitan Cities (Tokyo and Shsnghai). The main character of Lin Xiao Pan appears to attract lots of issues in her life. It is a struggle about her love to 2 individuals ( doctor candidate Zin whei and architect Zou fei)
Cast
Stellar performances from Jian ranzi as Xiao Pan, and Xang Bo as Zou Fei. I do not like much of the character of Zin whei (appear too cold and haughty). I do not like the pestering and interfering father of Xiao Pan. Little girl Yuan Yi is cute and surprisingly entertaining. Sister Lan who runs the maid agency is pretty and very considerate. Rich girl Nuotu who stole Zin whei from Xiao pan has actually a surprising role and appears to be a nice girl, considerate and not like a rich brat. Grandma of the rich family was initially domineering, but got melow towards Xiao Pan at the end.

Theme music is typical. Not a fond of rock music scenes

Architect Zou Fei's attire and dresses look odd in a modern movie (he likes a kungfu master in a modern business world)
Little girl Yuan yi looks cute, pretty and would likely have good future as a film star. Like to watch out for her future career.
Coincidences happening in this drama are only in a mythical world ... bordering to unbelievable.
Sometimes I felt that Xiao pan is too naive, and appears not to let go things that not going her ways. But it may be a real life portrayal of some people in this world.

A jilted financial journalist met with a handsome, young CEO and their road to happiness together.

Plot/Story
The story evolved around three young entrepeneurs, considered as the Three Musketeers, who were planning to work together in the new start-up business venture for investment: Shi Yan from Mingyu Yunchuang as the leader, Guan Ji from the Guan Industry, and Professor Yu You who was recruited by Shi Yan. Their new alliance was being featured by a financial journalist, who conducted series of in-depth interviews and analysis for her Financial news' company lead by Chief Editor Tang Yi. Tang Yi's staff writers included Shu Yi, a young, talented individual who has sharp and detailed reporting and analysis, and a rival Xu Yuling. Shu Yi also had a close friend named Bi Roushan, who worked for a different news outlet - Sanjiang Enterprise. She had interest with the young Guan Ji.
Aside from the love journey of the main female character Shu Yi, there were also three others who had their own romantic story in this drama series - Shu Yi's friend Roushan (Shan shan), her boss Tang Yi, and her work's new intern Shuyue (Yue yue).
As an object for Shu Yi's interest, Shi Yan appeared to be a little bit cold, bossy, stern and reserved at the beginning after the confession from Shu Yi. He also had competition from Professor Yu who was initially helped by Shu Yi's own mother; as well as from a young, brash but smart and over-confident Yi Yang, who previously managed to steal Professor Bruce from the coalition developed by Shi Yan.
Despite of some setback that occured during the courtship between the two leading characters, Shu Yi managed to set her heart as she manouvered through the challenges both at work and her own personal affection to Shi Yan since she lied her eyes on him.

Cast/Characters
Cast
Actress Bai Lu played as Shu Yi, the female leading character; while as Dylan Wang played as Shi Yan, the main male character. The other two main male characterswho were part of the " Three Musketeers" were Guan Ji, played by Liu Ding Qin, and Professor Yu You, played by Miles Wei. Old Guan and Chief Editor Tang Yi were played by actor Nie Yuan and actress Zeng Li, respectively. They were both known in the film industry. Bi Roushan was played by actress Jiang Pei Yao, and the role of new intern Qin Shuyue was by Shen Yu Jie. Journalist Xu Yuling was played by actress An Yue Xi, and Mr Yi Yang by actor Daniel Zhou.
As expected, Bai Lu is a fine, pretty actress for the role. She has the charm which captivated her audiences. I also like Zeng Li as a mature, gracious actress, as well as beautiful.
Characters
The main characters were slow in recognizing their attractions towards each other. There appeared to be too many mis-understandings between their actions, which could be caused by career obligation (Shu Yi), or just simply being too bossy and had power (Shi Yan).
I do not like Mr. Yi Yang's character in the drama set. I was upset to watch some of the episodes where Shu Yi did not reject from the start of the advances made by Yi Yang; although I understood from Shu Yi's point of view as she went through her darkest moments in her relationship with Shi Yan. Personally, I would think that this drama series could have my higher average rating by at least a half point: but as I reviewed and scored each episodes by their contents (according to story, casts, characters, music, rewatch values and scenes/filmography); Episodes 27 through 30 had my lower ratings due to my dis-satisfaction of the story/ plot, hence bringing down the overall rating.

Music
This drama movie series have beautiful music with the "Passer-by" theme song and one of my favourites. This song is very soothing and created dramatic auras around the movie and on the romance between the two main characters. Other songs were also pleasant to hear, including "For U", ending theme song "Lemon soda/ sparkling water", "Don't tell/ say", " The smell of winds/ The flavour of clouds", and "Divine/ Destined".

Rewatch Value
One would typically want to revisit some of the episodes, or rewatch the whole series in order to catch the details of the movie story, or to catch some of the beautiful moments, or beautiful photography offered by this film. There were romantic and/ or funny moments which we would like to watch over and over again. With the attractive personalities, or beautiful scenes of this film, rewatching of the movie becomes essential while enjoyable.

Outstanding filmography of the drama shots, including the night photography with good lighting techniques, scenes during rainfall, etc.
This film has parades of fashionable and trendy dresses worn by both the female and male roles of the drama.
There was beautiful scenery and shots at the horse stable and horse riding events.
Fine bokehs on scenes of the night shots and with the good background lightings.

Personal Comments
- This drama has a parade of fashion and trendy women dresses particularly geared towards teenagers and younger women.
- Many different nice dresses and styles which worn by Shu Yi. She looks extremely beautiful when she wore flowing dresses that show her slender body and her femininity. In Episode 21, she wore that beautiful red dress. However, although it may be the trend nowadays for young people, I do not like the dresses that she worn with military/sailor styles, short skirts and chuncky, black military shoes. It may just be my personal taste.
- Shu Yi's boss (Zeng Li) is very beautiful. She is charming and gracious.
- I did not approve of Shu Yi's character in the beginning when she ignored the new intern Qin Shuyue. She should have been more helpful.
- I like the dramatic views when Shu Yi was waiting and holding an umbrella in the heavy rain, or when she got drenched and found out about his old boy friend.
- Funny moments between Shu Yi and Roushan in Episode 6, when Roushan gave a gesture with her hands, urging Shu Yi to seize the moment and "smashed" together with Shi Yan.
- Magic expression of Shu Yi and eye contacts between Shi Yan and her when they were close together.

A rich city boy met a young country girl through prior arrangement and slowly falling in love

Plot/Story
Zhuang Xiaoman was an innocent, but pretty village girl who lived with her parents in Dandong Village. She has an old friend named Jingwen, who later attended school in the City and interested in rich city boys. Another one of her friends was Hao, a peasant who was interested on Jingwen. The quiet village life was suddenly disturbed by a visiting rich city boy named Lin Xian. He came to annull his engagement to Xiaoman, which was secretly and previously made by Lin's grandpa. Lin's visit coincided with a blind date to Xiaoman, arranged by her parents. Xiaoman ended up accepting the current engagement with Lin, in order to avoid the blind date. Jingwen, who knew about Lin background through her education in the City, was also interested in him. Then, there was also an old friend of Xiaoman named Zi Feng, a photographer coming to the village, who had also interest on Xiaoman.
As a temporary arrangement, Lin stayed in the village and helped Xiaoman with the daily farm life. He slowly became interested with the village life and Xiaoman; and clashed with Zi Feng while being pursued by Jingwen. He also had an old girl friend through his business in the City, and her name was Lu Yao. Was at the end Lin and Xiaoman convinced that they were meant for each others?

Cast/Characters
Cast
The feisty little girl Xiaoman was played by Qu Meng Ru, and Lin Xiang played by Li Zhou Hiang. Qu Meng Ru has a beautiful set of eyes and a face which captivated her audiences. Li Zhuo Hiang is young, handsome and has nice body, which was revealed by Xiaoman when she wanted to apply ointment for his rashes due to allergy and dust.
Jingwen was played by Liu Mu Zi, and Lu Yao by Pan Xiao Xu. Photographer Zi Feng was played by Yu San, and friend Hao by Huang Hai Tao. Grandpa Lin was played by Feng Li Ping.

Characters
Both Lin and Xiaoman were excellent in their roles. Grandpa Lin was charming with his white beard, reminded me of a kungfu master. Xiaoman's parents were quite pleasant and not too pushy toward their single daughter. I do not like Zi Feng's character, as he seems to be out of place in this drama.
Xiaoman was very feisty in the beginning of the story, but got mellow with Lin as time went by. On the other hand, Lin ended up adjusting to the village life and slowly loved it.

Music
This drama has a nice, soft music theme, but nothing special nor dramatic.

Rewatch Value
I found that it is worth to rewatch some of the episodes to see the beautiful sceneries of the village, or to capture some moments between the two main characters.

Scenery/ /Filmography
One of the nicest drama films with scenic and beautiful photography of the country farm , including the views of the greens, farm fields and rustic farm's life.

Personal Comments
- Nice old fashioned dresses worn by Xiaoman during the photo sessions.
- Xiaomen looked very pretty with the pink old fashioned costume for the photo set near the creek. She looked good in either wearing the farm jean and hat, or when she worked in the office.
- The length of the drama is excellent and not too long. The story was not too complicated, but it has unique story depicting agricultural activities.
- I wonder how Xiaoman can quickly adapted to working office environtment if she was just a naive farm girl?

A romantic courtship of a young lady with a rich scientist/ professor.

This is a drama series that I enjoyed watching very much. It may not need explanation, but just watch and repeat as necessary!. The story line is beautifully done. The dialogues are excellent, and the perseverance of the female character toward her future life was outstanding. And of course, she was played by Actress Bai Mengyan ( Bai Lu). It is however rather unfortunate that there were some sad drama happenings on both families involved; but I guess this was part of a daily life?.
The young lady (Shi Yi) was a voice dubber actress, having her star rising due to her special performance over the character that she played. She believed in re-incarnation. The young man (Zhou Shengchen) that she met by accident at the airport was a scientist/researcher/ professor, but also the heir of a rich, influencial family. He is a bit of a nerd or eccentric, has a photographic memory, and owned a tiny crab as a pet. However, he was considerate, punctual and kind.
As what Shi Yi said, she believed that they were meant to see each other as part of the re-incarnation in life. She said that she felt happy just by seeing him nearby. Therefore, she just jumped to the opportunity when he proposed to marry her.
She ended up to live far away from him for a while, but always close to him at her heart. She encountered difficulties when dealing with the complex family life of a rich family, with Shengchen's complicated family name as well as his family history. She had to deal with his stepmother not liking her from the start, or to deal with his old sweetheart who ended up marrying his younger brother.
Shengchen' close friend and his lawyer (Mei Xing) had initially taken an interest in Shi Yi, as well as Shi Yi's company dubbing director (Wang Ying Dong), but Shi Yi had always have her interest in Shengchen only.
In the fight to win Shengchen's heart, Shi Yi's allies have always been her best friend (Hong Xiaoyu), Shengchen's younger step sister (Wen Xing), his personal driver (Uncle Lin), and his old grandma Qin.
With all of the difficulties to adapt into the Zhou family, Shi Yi slowly was getting to know Shengchen. Her kind approach and her patience to him finally developed into a blossoming love between the two of them; although the road to happiness was a little slow, awkward and sometimes had their funny moments to cherish.
At the end, and as happened through the perils and dangerous events, they accomplished what they were looking for since the beginning.

Shi Yi was played by Actress Bai Mengyan ( Bai Lu). I never saw movies starring her before. However, I must say that she was a star performer. She is very pretty and she has grace and natural beauty. I just love to see her acts in the drama: on her physical acting, her looks and expressions in playing the role as Shi Yi.
Zhou Shengchen was played by Ren Jialun. With wearing glasses as a scholar, he was quite convincing and sometimes funny. Shi Yi's friend - Hong Xiaoyu was played by Wang Yueyi. Other characters were Mei Xing played by Ci Sha, Long Bin as uncle Lin, Wang Ruixin as Zhou Wen Xing, Luo Hai Qiong as Qin Wan - Shengchen's step mother. Tong Jiaren was played by Jin Li Ting, and younger brother Zhou Wen Chuan by Luo Ming Jie.

Characters
Shi Yi's and Shengchen's characters can be considered to be very conservative in today's standard. I found that it is delightful to listen to their dialogues, and how Shi Yi's slowly got closer to Shengchen.
As a room mate for Shi Yi, Xiaoyu had been the driving force which brought the couple together. It was quite refreshing when Xiaoyu coached Shi Yi on the background as Shi Yi timidly spoke to Shengchen. Xiaoyu accelerated the relationship between Shi Yi and Shengchen.
I do not particularly like the Qin Wan's character - the stepmother of Shengchen. She appeared to try to have her own way to secure her position in the Zhou family, as she was losing control of Shengchen. Shengchen's grandma however was quite warm and friendly toward Shi Yi.

Music
Simply beautiful music theme, and it added to the romantics of the drama.

Rewatch Value
I rewatched some of the episodes or portions of them multiple times, because of variety reasons: to get details of the dialogues, to see funny moments or memorable moments between Shi Yi and Shengchen, or to try to better understand the story line. Bai Lu's character had this special expression when she looked at Shengchen. Lots of precious and priceless moments to watch over and over again!

Scenery/ Filmography
Overall, the filmography of this series was outstanding. There were beautiful views of the various sites, including the historical City of Xian, the Zhou's family mansion with a front yard full of parked big, luxurious cars/ limousines. Some filming was done using drones, and the views from above were spectacular. There were also the night scenes with perfect lightings, adding some romantic and memorable events of the drama.

Personal Comments
- As a note, I did not watch the prequel of this drama series - One and Only. I am fine with what I saw as independent series, although the prequel may help with some understanding of the story line
- Shengchen character appeared a little bit too young as a professor.
- I sometimes regretted to see the sad endings of some of the drama characters from the Zhou family. I wonder what happened to the story's reception if such events were not happening?
- I felt sorry for Tong Jiaren's character, as she was still clinging to her rejected love from Shengchen. I despised Wen Chuan's character as being jealous of his older brother (Shengchen), as being irresponsible to his former wife ( Jiaren), and to be a playboy with one of the Wang's family character.
- Mei Xing's character was a little odd and seemed out of time with his hair and dress as a lawyer. I felt sorry that he lost his love to the two persons to whom he initially want to be close - Shi Yi and Wen Xing.
- Shi Yi was extremely beautiful when she wore make ups and with a red Chinese dress.
- Shengchen's photographic memory was outstanding - first when he wanted to memorize Shi Yi's phone number, and secondly when he drew a copy of the lotus flower painting that Shi Yi drew previously for Uncle Feng, completely from his memory.
- I like Uncle Lin' s character in the drama, who considered Shengchen as his own son.
- It was rather amusing when someone mentioned that since Shengchen had a crab as a pet, his entire Zhou family stopped eating crabs.

A pediatrician worked at a hospital run by a new president were facing the life challenges together

Plot/Story
A young man (Lu Zhaoxi) went fishing in a secluded country side when a big rainstorm came into the area, knocking off communication, and causing a major landslide that blocked the only access road back to the City. He was the new president of Anxiang hospital, located in the nearby City. During the storm, he found a young goat, which got injured and went astray from a nearby farm. Dr. Ye Shilan was a pediatrician temporarily working at the Taoyuan Village Clinic. She was looking for her missing goat, and met with Lu and brought them to the clinic. She interrogated him, as she was suspicious that he stole the goat. He could not provide his ID, as his wallet was left in his jeep which was buried by the landslide. He was not successfull in convincing Dr. Ye that he was the president of the Anxing hospital. Later, she also thought of him as a wine smuggler. The village clinic was run by Chief director Li , an acupuncturist; and by her deputy director. Dr. Ye was assigned at the Clinic as she left the Anxing hospital's pediatric department to avoid embarrassment after her confession to her fellow doctor - Dr. Jiang was rejected by him. She was still trying to go back at the hospital, as it was the only way for her to secure financial resources to own her dream home. Dr. Ye made Lu worked hard at the Clinic and the farm. Once the storm passed by and Lu went home, he ordered Dr. Ye to return to Anxing hospital and made her his temporary assistant. It was a surprise for her when she realized that the person who she made to work hard was really the president of the hospital.
The drama evolved around the actions of both Lu and Dr. Ye in the daily life of the hospital operations. Through times, they became close friends and worked together to fight for their places in the hospital. Lu's dad was the previous president of the hospital, and a wealthy person. Lu had to fight his position given by his dad from others who also wanted to have power to run the hospital. He got help from his assistant/ driver - Kevin Lin.
On a rather parallel story starting midway of the drama, Dr. Ye's room mate and close friend (Jia jia) met with Kevin Lin, and eventually became close friends. She worked at a coffee shop and liked writing novel stories based on her room mate. Kevin Lin came frequently and ordered drinks there, before knowing each other through reading and sharing the stories in the social media.

Actress Liang Jie played the main female character of this drama - Dr. Ye Shilan; while as the main male character of Lu Zhaoxi was played by Actor Joseph Zeng. She is a pretty and a charming actress, and he is a handsome one.
Jia Jia, a close friend of Dr. Ye was played by Li Lin Fei. Kevin Lin, the assistant/ driver of Lu Zhaoxi was played by Zhou Zi Han.
Characters
Both main characters were portrayed very well. We can see the strict character of Dr. Ye at the Clinic, as opposed to the more relaxed Lu Zhaoxi. Lu also had played tricks on Dr. Ye. It was funny the circumstances when they met for the first time at the Clinic; and when she accused him to be a thief at first, and later as a wine smuggler. She was very strict and made him worked very hard at the farm, tending the village's cattles. When Lu returned to the City and run the Anxing hospital, it was his turn to take revenge on Dr. Ye.
As Dr. Ye's close friend, Jia Jia was a bubbly character, imaginative and appeared to provide a lot of input and comments on her best friend's life. The same also with Assistant Lin, who provided info and supported Lu's needs, while also had meetings with other characters such as his dad, VP Gao and Jia Jia.
Taoyuan Village clinic was run by Chief director Li and her deputy director, both were very friendly, understanding characters representing an easygoing, slow paced lifestyle in the country side. Dr. Su later joined the clinic but left near the end of the drama, pursuing his interest on Dr. Zeng at the hospital.
The pediatrician department at the hospital was run by Dr. Xu, who was an experienced scholar, but also used his staff for his own goal to promote himself by selling medical books. The department staff appeared to work closely together, including gossiping and partying off work.

There was no particular music which stood out on this drama. However, there were precious moments that were shared by both Lu/Dr. Ye and Jia Jia/ Lin which have beautiful tunes on the background. In addition, there was a tune which was played to follow specific events to accentuate some of the comedy portions of this romantic drama.

Scenery/ Filmography
Overall, the sceneries made in this drama was excellent, although not considered to be spectacular or dramatic. Those who may want to see big celebrations, such as weddings or big parties may be a little bit disappointed.
The country sceneries were nicely depicted in the drama, including views of the water front, flower fields, nice rustic roads around the country's hills and farms.

Personal Comments
- Dr. Ye had a rather unique hair style - a tiny bun on top of her head. It reminded me of a female character of the ancient chinese warrior. One of my favourite was her white dress that she had to wear to meet Lu and Xiao Yu on Lu's birthday occasion (which she thought initially that he bought the dress for Xiao Yu, his old female friend).
- some nice film shots at the swimming pool, and when they play badminton.
- interesting night market scene, where Lu and his father had a meeting and sat in tiny stools while eating skewed meat balls together.
- Jia Jia and Kevin Lu appeared to have a good time at the amusement center, where he won several soft toy prizes for her; and she said that she only wanted two and Kevin handed over the rest to other kids.

A new dubbing film company founded by 3 university graduates faces challenges from a fresh newcomer.

Plot/story
Gu Chenyu, Xie Fei and Yan Ran are university graduates who founded a voice dubbing company to serve the drama film industry. Gu concentrated on content, Xie Fei on marketing and Yan Ran on Human Resources. Yan Ran hired Xiao Ning, a fresh new comer, who has ambitions to become voice actress, but has no education and experience. She was hired initially as an assistant to Gu. As time goes by, Xiaoning faced the many daily issues on her work, including friendship, training, bullying and love. Her presence stirred the hearts of both Gu and Xie Fei, while created issues with Yan Ran as she was hiring new candidates for voice actors for the Lethe chinese mythology novel, starring Prince Mo Bu yu and Lin Mohan mythical characters.
The first few episodes appears to be relatively "flat" and " dry" ; however, the story is getting more interesting in the subsequent episodes. There were a little bit rivalries between Gu and Xie Fei. The last two episodes were just covering the final moments of the drama.
Casts and Characters
Casts
The two main men characters were played by Zhao Zhi Wei (as Gu Chenyu) and Li Xiang Zhe (as Xie Fei). They were both young, handsome, tall, and built like swimmers. The third character was Yan Ran, played by Ding Xiao Ying, a very pretty actress, graceful, and has a natural shapes and beauty. The newcomer was played by Amy Sun (as Xia Xiao Ning). She is petite, has short hair, a little childish but funny and charming. She would be more suitable wearing casual dresses, but a little awkward in elaborate or class gowns and dresses.
Characters
Gu's character is quiet, thoughtful, determined and cool; while Xie Fei's character is the opposite - outgoing, chauvinistic, and a womanizer. Yan Ran's character is reserved, shown some strengths and focus on her work. When Xiao Ning fell in love with Gu, Yan Ran did not show too excessively jealous, as it could be that she does not really in love with Gu, but more concern and dedicated to the company that they built together over the years.
The amount of make-ups applied to the characters of the drama appears to be limited, reflecting typical activities in the office working environment. However, an angry Yan Ran can be seen in one of the episodes where she wore a red lipstick, and a pretty white dress. She looks so beautiful.
The male characters (Gu and Xie Fei) both wore nice suits and clothes - looking very sharp; while Xiao Ning and her room mate - Yao Yao typically wore casual, but trendy dresses.
Music
Except for the theme song, there are not much dramatic music attached to this drama. Occasionally, we can hear some of the catchy love and memorable tunes, but no more than that.
Rewatch Value
Nothing special on the episodes to rewatch, except to rewatch to get more understanding of the story.
Scenery/ Filmography
There are no out of the ordinary scenes in this drama. There are some nice shots at the amusement parks, some photo shots taken for the company's promotions, as well as some wedding shots. The mansion where the Family Gu lives was quite huge, and has nice garden with gazebos. Office and studio settings are typically modern looking.
The film shot of Xiao Ning and Gu in the mythical wedding ceremony were an exceptional. This is the only time that Xiao Ning wore very strong make- up with red lipstick.
Personal Comments
- In one episodes, Xie Fei's attempts to attract Yao Yao were too repetitious and awkward.
- it is good to know that the motherly affections of Xiao's and Gu's moms were not too excessive or becoming too pushy.
- I do not like Luoli's character very much, as she appears to be too over-bearing.
- I think Actress Ding Xiao Ying (as Yan Ran) is beautiful and graceful. She appears plain, with no make-ups, but was dramatic when she was in her parents' cemetery or when she has the red lipstick and white dress. I like her appearance in the green polka dot dress with her light green shoes. She is always cute and pretty in all dresses she wears.
- I like the blue dress that Xiao Ning wore, but does not seem to fit in her tiny figure, as she appears too short. She is good with casual, fashionable and trendy clothes.

The story evolved around an orphan girl (Mu Qing Ling) who is considered naive, easy to forgive, friendly, but has talent for smell and worked in her grandma's nursery. She was hopelessly in love with a school sweetheart guy (Ding Hai), who became a manipulative, opportunistic individual who wants to get rich. She crossed path with another guy ( Duan Tian Liang) who is the son of a big corporation rich guy owning hotels and department stores. Tian Liang took an interest to Qing Ling since he met her, but she has been ignoring him. To complicate things, Tian Liang has already a girl friend, another rich person named Shan Shan, the daughter of a rival company boss. The plot and story of this drama are very complex, involving almost every imaginable happening in this world. There are events related to pregnancies, babies being born, engagements, weddings, funeral, car accidents, fires, memory loss, hospital emergencies, mental illness, cheats, betrayals, kidnapping, infidelity, love, business rivalries, corporate take overs, company stock crashes, bribes, greeds, sufferings, and many others which are intertwined in the duration of this drama. Sometimes, it is just getting difficult to recognize who are the manipulators, or the victims of this drama.

Cast/ Characters
Strong performances from the main actors of this drama. Qing Ling appeared to be a simple, naive girl in the beginning, but changed as the episodes passed by. Tian Liang appearances seems to be like a young guy who has just a wrong hair cut, not the business type person; and Ding Hai who acted as a business, charm guy and a womanizer. The other two main young ladies - Xue Qing and Shan Shan are both live in luxuries, but unfortunate in the love department: one being in love with a guy who wants to get rich and social standing (Ding Hai); and another being in love with Tian Liang who happens to be in love with some one else (Qing Ling).
Some of the characters on this drama had to portray changed or different personalities. Qing Ling to become depressed, having amnesia, or pretending to be a different person in some of the episodes. Xue Qing's mother changed her act from being a mother to become a crazy person living in a mental hospital. Others, such as Ding Hai's mom who behaves like annoying, nagging mother, or has to interfere excessively with her son and in-laws. Su Nan and Xu Qing, who were initially rather nasty, but become more friendly and understanding in later episodes. Grandma's character has been mostly elegant, charming, lovable, understanding and accomodating to Qing Ling, but harsh and bitter when dealing with Su Nan. Ms. Fiona's character has been a surprise plot, and found to be a little awkward and unbelievable.

Music
Soft music as part of the main theme. There is no other outstanding music noted in this drama.

Rewatch
Some episodes, especially in the beginning parts may require some rewatching, because of the complexity of the story and background info, in order to understand more about each of the episodes and its continuity in the whole drama.

Scenery/Filmography
There are not very many outstanding sceneries or film set up in this drama. Grandma's unique home and its nursery is an exceptional. Night lighting, flower gardens on this scenery were quite good. There were a number of engagement/ wedding ceremonies, but no extravagance and mostly just simple arrangements. The main Duan family home was nice, huge and modern. It has a nice deck along the water front with nice palm trees.

Personal Comments
- in some beginning episodes, because of the complexity of the plots, the film appeared to be cut many times and becoming difficult to understand while watching.
- Qing Ling is so naive, in the border of annoyingly ignorant. She kept apologizing and a litle bit stubborn in some aspect.
- The film characters appear to have many misunderstandings and misinterpretations of others, causing so many issues. This may reflect an actual life drama; but watching it sometimes make you become frustrated and get annoyed.
- some of the characters were too hesitant, not decisive in their acts, causing some problems to others.
- I like Shan Shan's apperance - she is pretty, always well dressed, nice purple colour lipstick, and red orange nail polishes. But I don't particularly like to see the huge poster of herself in the room.
- Li li has nice yellow dress. She portrayed well as being a supporting friend to Qing Ling.
- Su Nan's blue dress looks beautiful, charming and elegant, and fit her body well
- Xue Qing's red dress that she wore after the wedding is beautiful.
- Tian Liang's red shoes at his wedding was strange.
- Finally, Qing Ling's appearance is always nice. She is pretty and fit with her character. With her parted hair style in the early episodes, she may be a little bit childish. Her different hair style in later episodes may reflect a more mature Qing Ling.
- It was surprising/unusual to see Grandma walked around with important DNA report papers, without cover and/ or hand bag, so that it can easily be snatched off her hand.

It is a rollercoaster drama, with the beginning story to be completely different at the end. Lots of interesting and intricate plots. The layout of the story is slightly unconventional, with the dramatic events do not happen at the end.
Casts/ Characters
I like the overall performance of the main casts. Mai Cheng huan is pretty, Mr Yao is stern at the beginning, but becoming charming and mellow at the end. Grandma' performance is excellent and has many wisdoms. I do not particularly like the casting for Jia Liang, nor Chenzao. Not bad performance for Mao. Performance of Mrs. Mai can also be annoying, as she wants to control her kids and husband.

A nice drama about struggle of happiness and career, with a beautiful backdrop of Hangzhou

Excellent performance of the main characters - Shirley Dai as Gu feifei and Victor Huang as Xue Can (Canye). However, I am not too much liking of these 3 characters : (a) Xue Can's mother - old make up is not working - should use older actress, (b) Gu feifei' mother - may reflect the real situation, but appears to be too demanding bordering annoying for her daughter, (c) Gu's house mate - appears as a too annoying character.
Backdrop of the City of Hangzhou is impressive. Beautiful sceneries and set up of the homes.
Shirley is beautiful and she performs very well. I also like the performances of Canye, and his fiancee Gua yan qing.
The number of episodes is good (25), not too long as like many other series. The plot is Ok, but end conclusion could be better (or it may be Ok as to reflect the real life situation?)

Competition in computer industry is a tough business

Having been dealing with bids and work competition myself, this is a unique drama series. However, for some audiences, it can be considered too "dry", or may be rather difficult to understand with the technical computer jargons. In particular, the first couple series may not be too attractive for general audiences (bids, bid strategies on computer and technology contracts). Hovever, further on, the story is getting more intrigue and interesting. Having seen actress Xin zhilei (as Luo Jia) when she was 10 years younger, her character in this drama is strong, independence, and different from the one I saw previously when she was playing as a non - main character. I did not quite like the performance of Chen Kun (as Zhou Rui) initially, but his character grew stronger as the movie progresses. 40 episodes can be considered a long series for me, but the series near the end appear to be rather shortened, or not as strong and complete to end this movie. It was interesting how Zhou Rui's grandma ended up meeting Luo Jia through the same interest in shoes.

A nice drama series, set up with a very strong chinese family tradition and culture.

I had difficulties to watch the sequences of this series in youtube with the english subtitles. The index for the one with english subtitles was not too helpful and needed to be searched carefully to find them. I ended up watching the versions with and without english subtitles, and re- watch again when the english versions were found.
The set up of the grandma's 2 storey green house location on the beach is beautiful. I wish I know where is this set up in the real google map location. It it a beautiful set up.
I like the performance of the Pearl character by Jiang kaitong. She must have just started her career when this was made in 2013. Initially, I liked the character who plays He Zhiwei more than Dr. Zhang's, but Dr. Zhang's character grews with time on me. Pearl' s grandma performance was excellent too. There are lots of funny moments that are precious, and likely show the culture of this drama series. Zhen Na character is both cute and funny. Grandma and Pearl's mother in law characters are also excellent.
The episodes prior to the surgery are very dramatic and played very well by the characters of this movie. I enjoyed this drama series very much. Also, beautiful moments on the final wedding episodes and conclusion of this drama series.
