Being typecast is the worst in an actor's career as it hinders their growth and limits their opportunities. That's why I'm glad that Meguro Ren, although he's only three dramas in as a lead, all his characters are very different range from one another and he did so well in all too.

The movie was released before the anime, so I don't think they are waiting for the second part of the anime to be completed. This movie doesn't even follow the anime but the light novel version of it. Both the leads and the director are super busy, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with its delay.

I highly recommend you check out Ren Meguro, the actor who portrayed Sakura, in his other works, especially 'As Long as We Shall Live.' It's a really good movie and he's amazing in it. Though relatively new to the acting scene, Ren has been remarkable in portraying a variety of characters so far.

Yeah, I just heard of that. I also heard there's rumors of a movie for Trillion Game. I can't wait!

I keep checking if he will have any new drama or movie but nothing. He's so talented, he needs to act more!

Of course you have every right to express your opinion. However, I just find it distasteful when comments insinuate such as Koreans or Chinese would have done a better... likewise, Japanese would have done a better job at it. Such sentiments are not only off-putting but also offensive to me. Rather than diminishing a cultural perspective, why can't we appreciate or dislike a drama based on our personal preferences, without undermining the unique takes each culture brings?

Saying Kdrama or Cdrama would do a better job is so off putting. I love it that Japanese dramas have their own unique style and flow. It's perfectly okay if you don't like their approach, but there are some of us who enjoy it.

You are probably the first person I saw that think the movie was far too long hahaha. Everyone include me think it's not long enough.

They released the drama viewing counts for Aug-July and Trillion Game placed 2nd as the highest, so I don't think it did bad. Meguro Ren is also not currently filming any drama or movie.

Nothing yet but consider that it made a lot of money at the box office, I don't see why they wouldn't.

I'm so glad this one is going to be available on Netflix worldwide starting 10/21/23! Can't wait to see this! I'm a new fan of Meguro Ren and just need the world to appreciate his talents!

I recently came across him in 'As Long as We Shall Live' and decided to watch more of his works. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that he is relatively new to the acting scene, given how versatile and amazing his performances are. His roles so far have been incredibly diverse, and he effortlessly excelled in each one. An actor of this caliber is truly worth following! Consider me a fan.

Recently discovered him through 'As long as we shall live' and proceed to watch more of his works. I'm pleasant surprise that he's quite a newbie to the acting world because he's just so natural and such an amazing actor. I love how all of his roles are so different from one another.
