I agree, I don't trust jay and even if he isn't the puppet master, he's definitely hiding something. I would be shocked as well if it turns out to be champ, he's sucks for sure but he's too obvious as the puppetmaster. My friend also suspected the doctor at first but now thinks the person tonkla ran over might be the puppetmaster because we never actually had it confirmed that they died and in the letter to tonkla they wrote "you almost got me killed" which could be them (maybe the doctor even is that person?? I grasping at straws now I know haha). Not sure what their motivation for targeting the others would be though, still an interesting theory.

I was thinking the same thing! I wonder if tonkla was behind the mask in ep3 and that's why he hid the dare letter from the police? I believe he had already decided to kill bell as his dare to save himself and he just got her before bell managed to get cher. I dont know who is pulling the strings yet, but they seem to be motivated by getting vengeance on people who wronged fai because fai was mentioned during both tar and bell's murders

As far as I know it had to do with tax evasion, she apparently also had children via a surrogate which is illegal in China. If you look her up on wikipedia, you’ll find the full thing :)

the main actress' shows all got banned in china due to a controversy so I highly doubt it
