loved this show but i'll have to admit its pretty ridiculous how sifeng managed to live till the end considering he spat blood 77 times in 59 episodes. if he wasn't the male lead he would've died from blood loss already

a lan is a girl that sifeng meets when he left to recuperate after he becomes seriously injured (not too sure about the specifics) but she has a one sided crush on him. i don't think this arc will air this week because this plot line is also when sifeng's lover's curse is cured by xuanji

sifeng gets married to a girl called a lan that hasn't appeared in the show yet. its just a fake marriage to help catch demons but unfortunately xuanji happened to see it while she was looking for sifeng after finding out about her past lives.

also just when i thought hao chen couldn't get more evil i believe that in his last moments (as a mortal) he misleaded xuan ji to believe that si feng was the one who seriously injured him to sow discord between xj and sf. seriously a psycho

wow the new trailer is really...intense, si feng making endless sacrifices to protect xuan ji till the end, even when she turned against him after misunderstanding that he is the mo sha xing. it seems like xuan ji was banished to the human realm for 10 lifetimes and si feng voluntarily followed her down to protect her along the way as well. the male lead in this show is one of the best i've seen in chinese dramas so far

hmm i'm not too sure but i think they are different things, guess we'll have to continue watching to find out

no wonder people refer to youku as ?ku wow thats really terrible...hopefully they will keep to their words and start the advance viewing next week

if anyone was curious, si feng knows that he is a demon. i think it’s really interesting how the show subtlety reveals it, the first clue being the scene where he was sent to 十三戒 as punishment at li ze palace and his master told him that he couldn’t afford to love someone knowing his status (as a demon though not explicitly mentioned) and especially at the cave scene where he got really flustered when xuan ji told him that she had inspected his whole body for injuries, si feng frantically asked her if she saw anything else while doing so because li ze palace disciples have a seal on their body to hide their demon scent.

li ze palace disciples have a really strong seal (i've seen people refer to it as a pearl or a nail at their stomach region) to hide their demon scent, so strong that even if si feng was hit by the third whip his demon form wouldn't be revealed.

is is true that to catch the 10 episodes in advance, super subscribers have to pay each week? from what i know the fans have been asking youku to delay it since the airing calendar came out because having 超前点播 this early in the show would reduce its popularity since there isnt that element of suspense anymore + the discussion level of the show would also be affected since everyone would be watching the show at a different pace and people wouldnt discuss about the show as much online for fear of receiving spoilers. but it really is pretty scummy for youku to announce the decision so late ><
