Just finished, it took me forever to complete this one as a binge watcher. I started it forever ago and stopped for months and then saw cheng lei in shadow love and remembered how much i loved him so came back to finish. aesthetically this drama is amazing, ost is good, acting is great, love the fighting scenes but the pace was just so slow sometimes, and the middle kind of dragged for me. i was prepared for a frustrating end from other peoples comments and it was still kind of.. augh.
I did enjoy it once things picked up toward the end, it is absolutely gorgeous and i would consider rewatching just for the aesthetics, honestly. but yeah that ending is rough.
watching for the first time in 2025 the dance piece / poem in episode 4 is so good nearly moved me to tears. i love the themes of the story so far, curious to see how everything plays out
Honestly, i gave it 10/10 the acting was great, ost beautiful, story was very exciting the first 30 eps, it slowed a little in the next 5 and then picked up again in the last 5. The deeper messages were beautiful, and they took a lot of common tropes and made something really wonderful. very inspiring and awesome story.
It was a bit of a slow burn, but im 1000% on the billybabe ship now, absolutely adored their chemisty and so excited for their next show together. i literally still randomly think of this series cause i just loved it so much, it was a great balance of romance, action, mystery, and fantasy for me!
1st time watching in 2025, well waiting for the next prince to finish airing. they are so freaking cute, i cried w the advocacy for queer rights and the plot was cute funny and entertaining, the cast was great and nunews voice is gorgeous i loved all his singing and looked forward to hearing him perform. they bloopers were really funny too!
I love it! new top 3 fav all time bl for me, i loved the mixture of romance, thriller, mystery, and above all the fantasy element!! the ost was fantastic, the acting and cgi was so good!! honestly just phenomenal for me, im sad and also grateful i took so long to watch this one, sad because will i find better ones? maybe a few but this one will be and all time favorite no doubt.
I cant believe it took me so long to watch this gem. Its now in my top 3 fav bls of all time, i adore fantasy so much and i am so happy to see such a well produced, amazingly told story with such great cgi, the actors are amazing, idolfactory is high on my radar now, i am so so so grateful for all the people who made this series happen!!
Omg i hope we actually get a season 2 i dont usually comment but i binged this in like 4 days it was so funny and i didnt get bored at all, loved all the actors did an amazing job, the ost is gorgeous i was not disappointed except for the cliff hanger but was kind of prepared due to the comments about season 2
