well, he did say that he lied because he didn't think he would see her again. It wasn't like he lied to take advantage of her or harm her in any way. lol, I think it's normal to not tell some strangers your real age when you first meet.

It would be difficult for it to be a good ending...with the amount of betrayal and bloodshed, I’d doubt it would be a happy ending and people who have read the novel said it wouldn’t be. And I don’t think anyone would be able to forgive someone who had killed your whole family no matter how much you love them.

He betrays her the moment they met...getting close to her just to kill her whole family???? the amount of betrayal in this drama is beyond me...it breaks my heart how much they look so good together yet it’s such a tragic ending. Honestly idk how you would love and marry someone you just met for a few days like she did but I guess because she’s naive and believed him too much

I'm really curious... does hao lan ever actually love/like or have any feelings for yi ren? In ep 42 when they actually met again when he's crown prince and came to rescue them, she isn't exactly friendly or showed much emotions towards him like how he was excited to see her again. Historically, it's rumored that her son with yi ren is actually lu bai wei's :/// and after seeing her giving yi ren the cold shoulder during their reunion i think deep down she still loves lu bai wei. Any thoughts??
