Believe it or not, shit like this happens in real life. See: unreported domestic rape cases and abuse statistics. Heck, my high school teacher was widely believed to have killed her husband yet his family won't sue and "leaving the fate to God".
Many people make excuses for the people they grow up with. However, in this series, I believe the grandfather somehow redeemed himself and still better than what happens in real life, but yeah, still needs to go to jail though.

It broke me several times then healed me. Sweet bonus: it has ZERO of THOSE problematic tropes 90% of bl has. More dramas with this quality, please!
P.S. Every time baby boy Ohm cries I just want to hug him so tight. Also, Singto improved a lot with his acting since SOTUS.
They should've ommited Kengkla / TarTum and spent more time developing AePete, TinCan, and PondAim. You could argue that they may have just stayed true to the material and it's in contrast with the other healthy relationships and showing toxic it can be, but to me, it came off as an excuse rather than to critique. Also, incest?? It wasn't clear that they were step-brothers, did I miss it?
Non-spoiler things that I like: -Positive and healthy relationship of the 2 main characters. -Interesting straight side romance -Great take on rape and PTSD -Great character development (both Tin and Can) -Great performances by Perth, Saint, Mean, Plan, Yacht Surat (Pond), Chereen (ChaAim), Phurin (Trump), Apasiri (Pete's Mom), Coates (Bow), and Prapatthorn (James) -TINCAN!!!!

5 Episodes in, and this is one of the best BL series I've ever watched! 10/10, I bet this will be the best BL series in 2019!
Below are non-spoiler list of the things that I like: -It keeps getting better each episode -Actors are really, REALLY good. Very mature and vulnerable portrayal, especially the leads! -Quality production. Cinematography, music, set, visuals. Few minutes in you can already tell that this has a higher budget than most BLs and they spent it well! -I also commend the writing! Props to the writer for the well-thought out immersive story!
It's not your usual BL and it drifted away from BL tropes such as: -No unnecessary/uninteresting side romance -Third party girl isn't annoying/hateable -No posessive, obsessive, and toxic relationship -No creepy or non consensual acts
I just wish that the coming 3 episodes and ending won't be a letdown *fingers crossed*
