The romance was good. Whenever I see GSH, there's also a bunch of people exaggerating about her acting skills. She did good and I think her chemistry with PHS was good too, they were really adorable and awkward and I feel like the romance was supposed to be like that. I agree that the bromance was the highlight of the show though, it was great!
For Episode 8 and based off of Episode 9's preview, I wonder if Ja Young, Hye Na's birth mother, is being genuine…
When Hye Na disappeared, Ja Young was packing her clothes and started crying. I think she loves her daughter in some way but is mentally unstable, dependent on her boyfriend for whatever reason and has a lot of other issues. I think she's genuine but I don't want Hye Na to go back to her, Ja Young would have to get a professional treatment and of course leave her crazy boyfriend in order to start seeing Hye Na again.
It was a nice drama. Really touching and sad. Some things could be executed better, I feel like it was rushed (and it probably was, it got cut short after all) and it was a little bit disappointing at some point. I liked the story and I cried a few times too. The cast did a great job as well. It wasn't mind-blowing but definitely worth watching.
