Wow. This show. So good. So good. So good. These were the words that echoed in my mind as I watched the last 2 episodes. The plot, the bluff, and the fights...what a blast!
One is Legend of the Female General that you'd mentioned, then there is Fated Hearts, and Shadow Love (which I didn't watch). All 3 had female generals and this is the 4th. But the background story do sound a tad similar to them. If we count Always My General which is not as popular, then this drama becomes the 5th about female general broadcast this year.
The back story on ML's umbrella sword is funny. CH said it's ridiculous to pick the swords after ML assassinates and ML's reply, the dead won't know. LOLLLL.
I remember watching Wu Xia as a child and loving them cos of the fight scenes. Sometimes there were romance, sometimes not but the fight scenes were the primary reason that got me hooked. This one gives me all the feels all over...the fight scenes are off-the-charts! Love it!
I love how they put it: "The savior of Disney+ is actor Ji Chang-wook . Beginning with The Worst Villain in 2023 , followed by Gangnam Be-side in 2024 and the upcoming Sculpture City , he's creating a genre that epitomizes Disney+'s signature noir, a genre that's synonymous with Ji Chang-wook himself." The JCW genre!
I love Ding Yu Xi and will watch him in anything but IDK...this is the 4th drama this year that I know of and have watched on the same theme. Hope there's something fresh.
I find him still likeable at this stage. Maybe it's the actor playing the role but I can't bring myself to dislike…
I don't get that feel...but have been seeing some comments on that. Anyway, I quite like the supporting male casts in this show...Situ Ling, Yan Xiao, and even his silly buddy. Also like the dragon and the cat. They're all likeable so far.
technically, situ lang has really not done anything wrong..neither has he wavered in his loyalty..and from his…
I find him still likeable at this stage. Maybe it's the actor playing the role but I can't bring myself to dislike this guy. But if he turns darker, IDK.
