I like his character mostly. It was already established he would have to act bad to be with the bad. But he showed kindness in the end. I didn't like the 2ML initially cos he was too greedy and weak but he got my sympathy in ep 12.

Flower of evil was good till the end...they had to make it makjang and it got stupid.

In some countries, drug trafficking is death sentence. I think you feel for the guy cos they didn't show you how the massive drugs he was dealing in destroyed people and families.

Finally finished watching and am satisfied with the ending. I think it's realistic, unlike some dramas that make it too neat and tidy. This is not the genre I like to watch but I watch it for JCW. He really amazes me cos I cannot recognize him at all. The story is typical but they know how to engage the audience's emotions. I think if a show can make you care for the characters, it's quite successful. Honestly, I don't care for the male/female relationships. I cared more for the boys. When I began this drama, I had wanted JKC to have a bad ending but by ep 12, I changed my mind. The top police chief was an AH and so is that fat cop. How that one ended, I didn't feel bad at all. The editing for some of the episodes were a bit rough but overall, I enjoyed the styling and tone.

I find the acting of the 2FL very lacking. Did they deliberately choose someone like her so that we'll dislike her immensely? The part where 2 of them were tied to the tree, she had no expression to denote surprise or fear? Any normal person would be shocked when they open their eyes. Even the FL's brother, mom and dad are more likeable.

I'm so nervous. I hope I can hold on and not check for spoilers before watching cos usually I can only watch later so I try to sneak in here and on Twitter to see what others are saying on the day of the episodes being released. But at the same time, I'm nervous about the spoilers. Haha...

You're right. It could be made to mislead.

My only consolation is that scene in the trailer where PJM is in uniform. If it's the promotion, then at least the mission was successful and he's alive. I don't expect HE for such shows...if yes, then it's a bonus. But at least for all the sacrifices, the mission must succeed.

I hope so too...that he's not putting up an act. That ending of ep 9 was a surprise. It's like JKC is a step ahead.

Who is confused? I don't know your definition for shit but to me, this script isn't shit. Read my original post. I used the words "mediocre" and "typical". A lot of people put hard work into a drama like this and it's so disrespectful for us viewers to sweep it off with a generic trashy word. There are lots of words we can use without being rude.

Not violent or crooked but determined. This was something his senior said, when recommending him for the undercover job. He said PJM is the kind of cop who will get things done once he fix his mind on it. But when he accepted the job, he read the job as "needing to be a crook to get the crooks". Also, he wasn't able to shoot the guy at the end of ep 3. Both times we saw him violent and aggressive was when He needed to protect his wife especially after he realized how savage the gang was.

This script is not shit at all.

If it's all a dream at the end, the director and writer should be burned. Lol.

When I first saw the 2ML, I thought he was Wang Kai. There is an uncanny resemblance.
