After seeing drama, I understand why they didn't choice top tier/Raising actress for FL role. But they chosen top…
I suppose there is also a budget to consider...but I really consider JCW and WHJ the main leads. So the FL is third in the cast. Would be impossible to attract a top-tier actress for such a role.
Yes I agree, the styling in every aspect and acting in this drama are exceptional without a doubt. The script…
When I saw the title and synopsis, honestly I wasn't expecting much cos I've seen this genre from Hong Kong movies and the stories are just well...the same. But even in the HK movies, the good ones that is, it was always the acting and cast that made the story interesting and engaging.
So I was surprised how well this one turned out with the cinematography. The acting and cast are all exceptional...even the side characters made me emotional.
For those who are saying this is a mediocre script or typical noir, you're right! But it's the acting that makes TWOE spectacular. Not my words, but the words of the Korean media.
I'm sorry but episodes 8 and 9 were trash. I think the production team knew it too since it was like they stopped…
Such a sweeping statement. The cuts were not on par with the earlier episodes but they were also not that sloppy either. Definitely not trash like you said.
Man is Acting like his life depends on this ,it's too Good. I was literally scared of joon-mo at one moment.
He's scary. When he bit that ear, I was squirming in my seat. When he was stabbing continuously, I think I stopped breathing for that moment. Every time he wielded the knife on someone, I felt my stomach churn.
I usually rewatch episodes of his dramas even as it is airing but I find I can't for this. But I hope to rewatch the entire drama after we're done with ep 10,11, 12.
"Like Jun-mo's line in the play, 'Once you start, you can't stop. This is the opinion of people who watch ‘The Worst Evil’. Thanks to Ji Chang-wook, who is receiving a lot of praise for his unpredictable development until the ending of episode 9, his full-fledged acting ability, and his unconventional acting transformation, 'The Worst Evil' has been ranked first in Korea on Disney+."
Mixed opinions about Euijeong and Junmo kissing others...but from what I saw Euijeong didn't like it, Junmo refused…
ML clearly didn't enjoy it. SFL even had to guide his hand to touch her. Lol.
As for FL, I think she acted like she enjoyed it cos how can she not act so if she was the one who said their meeting was destiny and she loves him (to convince him)?
So I think we can agree on the fact that the "romance" should have the least effect in a noir genre of this calibre…
I thought the writer is clever to include the relationship aspect. It makes the viewers emotionally vested and that's a strong hook. Not that I like it...it was intriguing until it got uncomfortable. But I have to say the drama is succeeding in using that hook as a hot talking point.
I was super worried for Yongdae during the fight I didn’t want my dude to get hurt… he’s not made for this…
Those scenes with Yongdae were a respite. But I keep wondering if his bumping into the police guy would cause any problems later. Hopefully he remains "blur".
Episode 8 was a big letdown for me because of the story development and characters actions. It wasn’t justified…
He didn't have sex with Hae Ryeon. I know what you're saying. But the way you write it here like that, we will soon have lunatics who did not watch the show running amok claiming this. Perhaps you could put your comment as a spoiler.
Does the clenched fist while kissing mean she was enjoying it or did she hate it
I think we can contrast with the scene where she kissed the ML. She looked happy and relax. I didn't get the feel she enjoyed being kissed by SML when she was younger...more like she went along not wanting to reject? IDK.
I was skeptical about how they would handle the death of the private investigator. I was worried they would cover it up with something illogical but they way they tell it as it is, I find it realistic. So while it is still sus to JKC, the plot didn't get stupid.
So I was surprised how well this one turned out with the cinematography. The acting and cast are all exceptional...even the side characters made me emotional.

*Everyone's falling left and right in the show and we're fainting left and right right here.*
