Is it just me that I noticed some actresses who acted opposite him have the tendency to be "touchy" with him. I'm seeing a lot of slapping of hand, body etc in BTS as well as his new variety show. Not seeing this in a bad way though. Just think there are a lot of familiarities and they must like him enough or be very comfortable with him to do that.
The reveal is so ridiculous I died. So they kept this dude there... without anyone knowing... not even the doctor.…
Interesting point. I didn't see it as ridiculous though. Cos it's at level 4 and doctors usually are busy attending to patients and would not have time to tour around. As for the thugs, I thought that's why they're called thugs. In some countries I know of, police "work with the thugs" especially in remote places. Also, by the time they call the police, it's a bit late.
Oh and I wonder what our crazy-obsessed Joon Kyung would say to the detractors who love to come over here and irritate us with their boring flopping comments?
I know! "SHUT IT!"
Jokes aside, I just want to say there are celebrities and there are actors. Some thrive on popularity while others thrive on their skills. Look at the Wed's slot. There is one renowned actor and he is widely know for his craft. Ratings for his current drama isn't doing so well too and neither is the rating on MDL. But does it make him a lesser actor? NO.
There is an explanation for all the weirdness going around room 403 through the backstory of KTS. What a relief! Btw, 403 in computer lingo means forbidden. This writer is very interesting. So far up to now, I really like how the story is flowing with no major gaps. I really like how the writer intertwines the backstories so well with the current and make all the connections so meaningful. No draggy plots.
And the writer has a great sense of humor with regards to how JCW's personal preferences/profession are brought in. Carrots + Grand Award. Hilarious!
I love how well-balanced everything in this show is. From individual stories of patients and staff to main character's…
Yup, I like the well-balanced plot so far too. I was worried there are too many elements but it seems they handled it well. I particularly like how they focused on the emotions of the characters. I think that's a strong point for this drama and am glad the actors/actresses all carried their roles so well. Right now, just a bit leery about that mysterious character in the hospice.
Ep 9 was heartbreaking and painful to watch in many ways. There are lots of praises for how JCW portrayed his character but I want to say, CSY did a great job in this episode showing her emotions. I was very moved by her portrayal.
On another note, it seems there are a few people here always wanting to jump in to make snide remarks either about the drama or JCW. These people are as toxic as HJK, just looking for people to pay attention to them. My take is to ignore them and not engage with them because it seems all they wanna do is to stir low opinions for the show or for the lead actor. You can almost tell from their comments they are not watching the drama.
Joon Kyung is is so obsessed! I despise her character because she only wants Gyo Re whom she supposedly “loves”…
I actually find her character rather interesting. I don't like what she's doing to GYR but from the flashbacks, it looks like after she was abandoned, he was the one who looked out for her. So it's quite natural she clings on to him. He protected her like a sis but she has developed obsessive love for him and is turning toxic cos he is not reciprocating the way she wants him to. And on the back of all these, I think both of them are being used to earn money for the mafia and it makes everything even more complicated. They have never experienced love in a normal way so she doesn't know how to cope without YGR. YGR has the fortune of meeting Team Genie and his journey there is helping him. Hope she finds hers too...soon.
Just finished watching ep 8 and this is by far, the best. I was feeling sleepy but watching this episode kept me wide awake! So many things happened and I particularly love all the focus on the animals. I was expecting a lot of sadness with Sonny’s departure but instead, the show chose to highlight the message of life and hope that Sonny brought to YGR. I’m so glad there is healing even though his best friend is gone. I cried but this is no sob story for the sake of sob story for sure.
But YGR’s attempt at living a normal life isn’t gonna be easy. His past is catching up along with the toxic people he grew up with. That plus it looks like he was owned by a mafia. Breaking ties with them won’t be easy.
This show is getting more and more interesting! I can’t wait to see how it’ll all pan out so that YGR can live an ordinary life and get a chance at happiness. He definitely needs to spend more time with Nurse Seo. They’re so cute together! I’m also liking Captain Kang more now with more of his backstory flashed out.
How heavy love triangle is here ..?Chemistry Between Main Leads..?
The chemistry is good but not on a romantic level. I find their bickering hilarious. I like it so far in terms of the delivery but we'll see. Hope it won't get draggy.
