the recent Korean drama work is mostly : action, gore, beating, blood, violence, bullying, etc... !!!
seriously, I prefer it that way lol. 😠that's what I am into and that's what I want to see more. but I think they are also releasing other genres recently.
which do you think will do better globally? The Atypical Family or The Midnight Romance in Hagwon?
I believe the Atypical family might be do better globally. I love wi ha Joon (playing in midnight romance) but the Atypical family is what it ticking the box right now. Plus, it's airing on Netflix. The midnight romance will air on Viki - maybe two might do well globally but my bet is on the Atypical family lol.
Agree. I think I first saw it on Reddit before seeing it on Instagram. If not, I wouldn't have known it was coming…
same. I think MDL is doing a good job promoting upcoming dramas. I just hope that this drama will get the hype it deserves. From what I have seen, dramas without excessive hype, are not always discovered so well. :( At least, it's also airing on Netflix. It will get promoted to an extent, no doubt.
2 days until premiering, are there still no promotions??? (scriptreading, press conference, interviews )????
Agree. I think I first saw it on Reddit before seeing it on Instagram. If not, I wouldn't have known it was coming out unless I decided to search for any of Jan ki Young's dramas on MDL or Google.
This dude was drunk and the sister kinda took advantage of him.
of course, and they failed to focus on his frustration. he was a good husband, sincere and I felt for him too, when he lost his child and wife. the only thing I am saying is that, he shouldn't have stopped when threatened, he should have gone all the way. he absolutely had nothing to lose like seonyul but Kim Joon had a lot to lose. However, I'm still glad he succeeded.
I guess I will have to wait about a month to watch this. I don't really like watching dramas when they're streaming but while it streams, I will be sure to read the comments ðŸ˜
Main couple? Or does the FL can’t choose between the 4 men?
there's no main couple/romance between the four men and the girl. They're trying to save her from a cult. so the drama is more about dark, psychological themes and not romance.
yet better than Netflix.Netflix dictate a lot of things, the number of episodes ,and nudity is essential.that's…
Yeah. I agree with you regarding the fact that Disney don't promote their Kdramas well I discovered some of their dramas by frantically searching and looking at recommendations. but it's up to the broadcasting stations to decide. I just wish that Korean dramas were more recognized internationally with more reach than Hollywood garbage.

to be honest. I prefer watching Disney Kdramas than Netflix. I think Disney produces interesting Kdramas these days; moving, revenant etc. It's so much better than Netflix
I watched the series in 1.5 days 😬 I only rewound during the super heavy emotional parts. I couldn't take that…
I totally agree with your review!! I have to confess that Kim Nam Joo's character in this drama is the first FL I have ever loved. She acted sooo well. Of course Cha eun woo acted more maturely in this drama and I think it suits him well. I haven't been able to watch some of his former shows like a good day to be a dog or my ID is gangnam beauty because his acting was a little too childish? and unreal. That said, I am happy he got to challenge himself with this role. I hope it opens up more serious roles for him in the future!
This dude was drunk and the sister kinda took advantage of him.
I hated the sister for that not gonna lie. she initiated it, but even if the dude was drunk, he could have known better. instead of spending his time drinking, he could have channeled that anger and frustration into finding solid evidence to nail Kim Joon down. so annoying smh.
