Well I finally found a drama which I thought could help me relax...turns out it did the exact opposite. XD.
It's a Sageuk called King's Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang. It was very good...but my oh my did it take a toll on me. I'm glad I watched it though. It probably will be going on my list of masterpiece dramas.
For now I am just going to try to lay low. Friends of mine on MDL keep on saying I should watch Empress Ki...but I think I might wait it out. Till its over and then try to watch it. To much dramatic events have happened today and I am far to tired. Did you ever get around to watching Amachan?

Yes I did. I couldn't believe what happened! He sent his own wife to a psych ward. That is one way to try to solve a marriage. XD.
I haven't gotten around to episode 12 of GG though...I got too caught up in a sageuk called King's Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang....I might try to watch ep 12 of GG tomorrow but I don't know..after KDSBH my mind has been all over the place and I might need a break from dramas for a little bit. Who knows?!
Am I the only one who hates Soo Hyun's husband? X_X seriously he's such a douchebag! When she needs him the most…
He is a a corrupt lawyer..he probably sent a man who did not commit murder to jail. He also cheated on his wife. I don't dislike the actor just the character himself.

No I hated him from the very beginning and now I hate him even more for sending his wife to a mental hospital. The guy is a total asshole and there is no way around it. I'm not worried though..I think Soo Hyun will realize the mental hospital was the last straw. I see a divorce happening very soon. LOL.
Oh and a love line for Dong Chan and Soo Hyun. They've been hinting at that for a while now.
I haven't seen Golden Empire yet but I have had many people suggest I watch it.
Asian dramas have this contradiction. screenwriters for asian dramas don't want to overstep any boundaries for what is considered "ok" and "not ok" but they still want to do something different (out of the ordinary) but they are afraid it will ruin the harmony in their society (as you said).
I have come across a few roles and actors which embody the type of character I seek to find in asian dramas but I haven't found my "ideal" character/role yet.

Right now I am doing homework. :D
So at the moment he is still married to her half sister and they are debating on if they should get a divorce or not.
1. Lee Dong Wook's role in the drama Bittersweet Life.
2. The Doctor's son in Cruel City.
3. Ma Jun from Baker King.
What roles would you say?
