i think its cuz they relate to the second male lead not being picked by the female lead no matter how much they try. In a way they sympathize with the fact that theyre the second choice even when the second lead isnt even a love interest.

exactly lol the dude has been nothing but patient with her and treats her good. if she feels weird or uncomfortable she can just talk to him , she is a grown woman not a child. if anything shes the weird one not him lol. she got mad at the ML for not communicating with her during their marriage, so u would expect her to do the same thing when she feels uncomfortable with the SL
